Ah! The Doogster had enough of us and went skipping off into the lagomorph crowd to find somebun worthwhile to talk to!

I live with an uppy-eared bunny. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing a lop's ears in action. Oh but they are wondrous!

Kat: Both uppy and flop ears speak volumes.

Fleetie: On another note, I remembered another classic rabbit video. Remember Lonesome Billy?

I'm sorry that I'm just a stoopid hoomin. Can you make a real link to this video for those hoomins who haven't seen it before or would like to see it again?

Janet : Yep, here you go.

In a rush so can't write much at the mo!

He's a clickable version of Janet's link!

Well, Dougal does seem to be off on a mission here!

I wonder what he has got planned! Or maybe, just escaping the hoomins! Well, Dougal, treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen, I guess! If you let them pet you all the time, they'll start taking it for granted!!

And we can't have hoomins ytaking buns for granted. No. Hoomins must Learn Their Place.

In bunrelated news, today was a "big day" for me, because I finally got off my lazy hoomin butt and went (with my filled-in monthly sponsorship form) to a local abandoned animals shelter, and I explained that I would sponsor because, sadly, I cannot adopt a bunny. I asked whether they would let me see some buns anyway, and the lady said "Yes". So I got to see some real buns! They were in their pens behind perspex doors, so I didn't get to pet any - I would've been there all DAY if they'd let me do that!

So here is my FB album with the few photos I took in it. I only took a few, because I didn't want to annoy the hoomin lady who took me to see the buns. But I came away happy, because at least I'd seen buns and told them how cute they were!

Oh, Fleetie, those are fantastic pictures. American patriots pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honour. We bunny patriots have really got to understand that our "fortunes," no matter how much or how little they are, have to be in the mix if we want better lives for bunns. Make a sacrifice, People! See if a much, much better world is worth the price. Maybe you will like living where joy, beauty, and compassion reign. Or you could just buy a shiny car, worry if you will have enough money left when you are 208, buy a flashy piece of jewelry, or be proud of the money you are going to leave your children. How about leaving them something worthwhile? How about showing the world what money is for? I used to find greedy ostentation contemptible. Now I just really feel sorry for these deeply flawed, feral people, sorry for what they can NEVER be a part of.

Ah! Wonderful, Fleetie! I bet the buns were secretly approving the whole time. Good for you!

A little post production tweaking sure makes a picture a lot better. I especially like the one with the bunny in a hay burrow. That's exactly what my Queen Phoebe and Prince Consort Drizzle do in their hay bale. Scratching around in all that hay is tons of bunny fun.

Yayyy! The Dougster is back, along with Hoppy Hour and a marvelous display of ear versatility. I especially love the “flaps-down” bun — I didn’t even know they could do that!

Oh, Fleetie — your slideshow was wonderful — it was just like being there! Mighty fine photographs of mighty fine bunnies, all of whom we hope will soon find forever homes. Who knows ... you might soon find yourself on the other side of those perspex doors filling litter boxes with fresh hay!

Oh, my Goodness! Too much! I love that last bit of video where the little black bunny is just running circles around the tunnel! LOVE LOVE LOVE

Dougal, my Sweetie! You look like you own that place! :)
