Dougal's hoomins have got out the posh camera to take some more fabulous pictures of our Star Bunny!Dougal seems to be very active and busy this time! He's always on a mission! I wonder what he was doing in that last picture; he wasn't hopping, but using just 1 thumper at a time to "walk like a hoomin" (well, not upright, but you know).Dougal probably thought he'd look silly standing upright and walking on one thumper at a time like hoomins do. I mean, let''s be honest: If you look too much like a stoopid hoomin, then you ARE gonna look silly to rabbits!I wonder what caused Dougal to need a wash in the 2nd picture. Too much stroking from hoomins, maybe?!
Fabulous! Check out the little black bunny with the white back toes in the Face-wash picture! Could be our Racer!
The second picture of the fine Mr. D reminds me of a detail in "The Lady and the Unicorn" tapestries. The little mediaeval lapin seems to be whispering a secret...probably something like "Many centuries from now, mon chere, when we buns have given Al Gore the secrets to l'Internet, there will be, how do you say, a blog to honor us...".
Oh, the picture of praying Dougal looks very saintly! St. Dougal of the Hour of Hops, intercede for us! (or at least for me, the rest may be utterly hopeless...heehehehe)
Dougal, so good to see ya!
Brandi, I read that as "...the rest may be utterly hopless!"
Oh a Dougal start to the weekend!
Kelly, too funny. Thank you for giving me a good reason to visit those bunnies. I still can't image how you figured out what they were up to.
Is that a kerchief on the bunneh Dougal is conversing with? If so, then The Bun Scouts of America were well represented.
Ah, Jane, mon amie, I've spent a few hours gazing upon those fabulous tapestries at Cluny in Paris (hooray for airline miles and girlfriends willing to bunk together in tiny Left Bank hotel rooms) and all the animals in them tell such a marvelous story to me. Not to mention working for about 16 hours one year on vacation doing a bazillion piece jigsaw puzzle of one of the tapestries...
Oh yes, Kelly!! I love those frolicking bunnies on those tapestries! They make a trip to Paris even more worthwhile.
That last picture is a depiction of a bunny who has really "put his foot in it."
I could look at Dougal photos all day long. In fact...Any chance of a Disapproving Rabbits calendar?
That's an idea! A Disapproval for every month!Though, in truth, even if there were a page for every DAY, it wouldn't be enough pages for all the reasons we deserve to be Disapproved Of. The trouble is, hoomins seem to find so many different WAYS of being stoopid! And they all need to be Disapproved Of!*THUMP!*
Oh, Fleetie, that's not the trouble of it, that is is the enduring, everlasting joy of it. There is always more to disapprove of. Don't you think that has to thrill the little bunns, send shivers from nosies to toesies?
