A storm of disapproval moves in on Texas.

Thanks, Fen!

This is the first of several plagues visited upon us by The Rabbit Deities.

We have no-one to blame but ourselves.

Look out for rabbit-shaped clouds! Issuing lightning!

I might be safe, because I am wearing my Cinnamon T-shirt at the moment. I can hope, anyway!

That sent shivers up my spine. Phew, at least it's in Texas. Give Oklahoma a break, Mother Nature!
Jane, is Fen YOUR Fen?

Which way is it headed? Which way is it headed? How much time do we have?

The lightening is one thing, but watch out when that brown "hail" starts falling!

The wrath of a bunny is worse than a hurricane, tornado and earthquake combined!

Brandi, I do have a Fen, but I only just now found out about his submission to DR. I can't believe he did. Wow! My best non-bunny and non-bunny blogger bud got something posted on DR. I had no idea and might possibly have never realized it without your having asked. I do want Oklahoma to get a break. Our hearts go out to all and words fail. Brandi, I need to tell you this weather map speaks to Fen's greatest fear, doom by bunny. I'd like to thank everyone for letting Fen share his angst. I truly believe that someday he will look at this forecast map and whistle, "Here comes Peter Cottontail hopping down the bunny trail..." On that day, I will remember all of you with great gratitude for the part you have played in his healing.

That's not good. Not at all. Solid disapproval, waiting to pluck the wings off delusions of hoomin grandeur. It would try to do it slowly too, first one, wait a little, then the other :-<

How funny, Jane. I betcha never thought you would see Fen's name on DR!
Oh, and Jane, the menfolk in my house do their own laundry for the most part and are very appreciative of me when I actually wash their clothes for them.
My husband TRIES to do laundry, mounds and heaps and loads of laundry, so that he can justify not doing the dishes.
But no one does laundry the RIGHT way, which is to say, MY way.
And I am experimenting with homemade laundry soap today!!!

The Disapproval Storm seems to be moving from west to east. Those of us in North America are probably doomed. Fleetie, you might be safe where you are in the UK. If this is the last you hear from us, think of us fondly and remember, we had it coming to us. The Rabbit Deities judged us and found us wanting. We were doomed from the start.

Unfortunately Texas appears one hop away from utter ruin, while Arkansas and Mississippi have rapidly mobilized emergency preparedness teams from all counties.

With a mere 48 hours to prepare for the disapproval storm, all regular radio and television programming has been suspended in order to broadcast the following bulletin:

"All disaster preparedness personnel as well as all members of the public are ordered to seek shelter immediately. Once a safe indoor venue is secured, all able-bodied citizens are urged to protect themselves by doing the following:

Make the largest salad possible
Throw in as many sliced bananas as can be found
Plus all raisins and sliced apples"

Governors from both states have issued the following joint statement as a warning to those seeking to take advantage of this crisis:

"Under no circumstances will the use or threat of use of salad dressing be tolerated. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

@Furbeast:

UGH! I can actually hear that emergency broadcast! It is preceded by those beeps, then " The National Weather Center in Norman, Oklahoma has issued the following the warning..."
I have been hearing it too often lately.
Hurricanes, Twisters, Tropical Storms...can any of us survive the wrath of the Lagomorphs????
Dammit, I put Ranch dressing all over the crudite tray!!!! I am DOOOOOOOOMED!

There was a Disapproval storm in my flat at around 06:30 to 07:30 this morning.

I would just like to take this opportunity to say how much I Disapprove Of Monday mornings.

I complained and groaned and moaned and Disapproved as I hauled my unwilling hoomin carcass out of bed and round the flat getting ready.

We felt it, O Wise and Wonderful Bunny Whisperer, and we accept it.

It looks like the disapproval is strongest in the tummy of the bunny. Who failed to feed it?
