Dougal doesn't need a syrup! He has wonderful rabbit fur already! And he is certainly not going bald!Sharon and Bill are going to have to hand out some serious treats to get back in Dougal's good books after this! And if not, then ear-thwackings might have to happen!*THWACK!* *THWACK!* *THWACKETY-THWACK!*
Much handsomer than The Donald.
Is it really real?
Instead of a combover, Dougal has an earover.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hai just really laughed out loud at work! so funny!!
Dougal buddy so feel your pain...but you do look funny...hehe,xx Speedy
Being english, I only just realised that this is a spoof of Trump, who apparently presents "The Apprentice" over there.we have Lord (Sir) Alan Sugar, you see, so it wasn't immediately obvious to me.Anyway, apparently Trump is famous for his syrup, hence the gunger wig and the "You're fired.".Stoopid English hoomin finally gets it!
^ GINGER wig !!!
I think you meant The Dougal. ;-)
Bwah hahaha, The Dougal! Love it!
Dougal trumps donnald ;-)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZoNPCeWOTYDapper Dan? Hell No. Dapper Doog!
Hope he meant that figuratively, or else Sharon and Bill are mere cinders by now!
Fleetie, is a "syrup" English slang for what Americans call a "toupee" or a "rug"? Or is it a term for "combover"?Over here syrup is what we pour over pancakes, as in maple syrup.
Furbeast : Yes, it is Cockney Rhyming Slang for "wig":"Syrup of fig" --> "wig"And here's a list of some more.
I love Dougal's sense of humor! ... he is kidding, isn't he???
Thanks for the "syrup" explanation, Fleetie!I am a quiet admirer of Disapproving Rabbits (not being possessed of, or by, a bun but a dog, cat and horse). My only credential is that I am traveling to Sweden this summer to visit Champis, the sheep herding rabbit!Happy Easter to all!
I'd like to hear from Sharon or Bill about what Dougal is like as a character.I feel we got to know Queen Cinnamon quite well over the years. But I don't feel I really know much about Dougal.* Is he naughty?* Always up to mischief?* Does he like to be petted?* Does he *THUMP*? When?* What things does he Disapprove Of most?* What else makes Dougal... Dougal?
Yes, I agree with Mr. Fleetie on this one. Dougal is of course disapproving, that goes without saying. But what other qualities does he have?
Fleetie, thank you for the comments and the link. As for Bill and Sharon turning in, that is sharing a bit more about Dougal, I think we should seriously consider Marshmallow's concerns. If they aren't fired already, how is Dougal going to react to a tell-all exposé? Yes, I think so as well. I mean as we begin our journeying with that which is Dougal, we must bear in mind what we already know - he is a rabbit. I am sure he would relish getting to know you better, but have a care for the rest of us. I am sure he would come to you for a visit and some nice SWWWs IHBF, but for the rest of us even gentle prying is a TTTyT.
Kelly, there is no true happiness without a rabbit, and "Hank" is a name for a cow dog, not a horse. See, a rabbit wouldn't let you make a mistake like that. Anyway, have great trip.
Re: sharing more about Dougal, respectfully submitted. Isn't it about time that Dougal starred in his own book? My copy of Disapproving Rabbits is quite...erm...dog-eared...from over-use! Seeing just a few pictures of Dougal every once in a while is NOT enuff! (I want to snorgle those EARS!!!!) Surely there is MORE than enough pictures and quips for a, much larger, volume II? PLEEEEEZZZE?
Dougal is a fairly easy-going rabbit. As you've all noticed, he doesn't really disapprove and isn't that standoffish to Sharon or I. He just goes about his business, napping or alternately tearing about the house at high speed. He's extremely tolerant, especially where treats are involved, and lets us pet pretty much any part of his body (including his paws and stomach) so long as the nutriberries keep coming. We don't post as many photos of him because typically when we turn the camera on, he takes off or rushes the camera, thinking we're going to feed him.
Uhhh, feed him and take the picture?
Bill: He lets you pet his stomach?? That's amazing! The Dougal must be a very tolerant bunny indeed. You must perform your BunChores uncharacteristically well (for a hoomin.)
Thanks for the Doog-Dossier, Bill!Now... This petting-of-tummy thing: You know what this means!I'm going to have to somehow persuade Dougal to hop on a BunWay Airlines flight to Manchester, England, so that I can go SnorgleWorgleWorgleWorgle In His Belleh Fur!
HAHA! I did the same thing to Jamili and she looked just as annoyed.
