"No, hoomin, you may not take the day off on the 25th of December.I shall be holding a BunMas party all day.YOU shall be required to peel carrots, prepare and serve exquisite salads whose ingredients will be paid for out of your over-generous salary, and then after dinner in the Drawing Room, you will circulate with silver trays of Carrotinis. You may be required to play the fool for the amusement of the guests - something at which I do not doubt you will excel. Just don't overdo it! When the guests have retired or departed, you will do the washing up and prepare the vegetables for the following day's lunch. And you will be grateful for the honour of serving this BunHold!"
Ah yes, this bunny was named after the great greek bun Homer, who wrote the epic "Odyssey," whose title modern linguists translate as "Odd to See," a reference to the rare sighting of an intelligent hoomin. This saga was, of course, a continuation of the extraordinary "Iliad," or "Ill He Did," which describes the unending transgressions of one hoomin slave.
@Fleetie: How did you know?! @ Furbeast: He has seen his share of dumb hoomins! I am Homer's hoomin slave. He thinks I am kinda dumb, but he treats me nice, anyways! ;)
Well, it's "Be Kind To Dumb Hoomins" month. I gotta say, Homer is freakin' gorgeous!!!!
Homer, dear Homer, don't you know it's evil to mock the afflicted?
Ken, Fleetie is really, really smart, but even I knew all that. Usually there are people commenting on DR who squeal when they see a Big White Bunn (BWB). I think they must be out of town away from their computers. Anyway, here's some squeals for Homer...squeal, squeal, BWB, squeal. Thanks for sharing him with us. I certainly would like to be rubbing his head.
I love clever white bunnies and I bet Homer is just like Speedy!Merry Christmas to you all its time for Speedy to open his presents,xxSpeedy's mum
Homer sends love and bunny kisses and banana chips to all his bunny friends in the World!
Well Homer - I guess I'll find out any moment now!
Furbeast, we were all very proud when we learned Fleetie was a Latin scholar, but now we have a Greek scholar, too! This is great! I know some classics majors. I cannot wait to share. You will be credited.
