I am no longer able to exercise a complete set of responsible bunn viewer faculties. I am thinking things that would embarrass the Ladies With Vans. I am ashamed. With my last vestige of decency I beg you to hide Bennett.

Anonymous, there is NO SHAME to our (Ladies in Vans) game. Part of our "sickness" (Elmyra Syndrome) is that we do not have a clue that we are being disapproved of, so that we take risks no other rabbit person would dare to take, such as snatching up a bunny in mid-binky and smootching their angry moufs and giving them squeeeeeezes and sneaky snorgles. It usually leaves the rabbit in a state of disbelief, giving us time to make a clean getaway before they come to their senses and lay down some mushroom clouds of disapproval. We call it the Shock and Awe Attack.
My bunneh boy wunneh, Fatty, has a face like that, but he has a deformity on that side of his face and body. The vet thinks he might have been in his embryonic sac too long post birth and that it dried to him on that side of his body, causing him to have the deformed toes and face on his right side. It could also be congenital. He always has a look of utter disgust on his pretteh witteh bunneh wunneh mouf.
Brandi, I am so glad the little bunn has you to love him. I've never heard of such a thing. Sometime we need to talk about the name, but for now thank you again for giving this little one a loving home. I certainly don't think there is any shame in the LIV game. I meant to let everyone know I was about to have a lot of shame in mine. Should I be able to shake off my degradation could I join LIV. I know that extensive training and screening is required y no hablo conejos muy bien, but I will work hard. Pleeeaaaase.

I have also seen bunnies with permanent disapproving expressions on their moufs due to e. cuniculi....(or some other bunneh disease that I'm too stoopid to remember.) It leaves lasting effects even after the bunneh has recovered. Whatever the reason, Bennett looks charmingly disapproving.....ooops, I mean terrifying.....just the way he is.
This grimacing grumpkin wonders what we have been eating, that we smell so BAD!
"POO! What a whiff! *THUMP!* Will it fit in the washing machine? Hmmm, no. Quick! Somebun hose that hoomin down with water!"
And someone had better go and get some smelling salts for poor Bennett bunny! (Or some nice salad and Carrotinis might just make him feel better, too!)
I wonder, has anyone ever tried to make a REAL carrotini? I imagine it something like a Bloody Mary.
J2B, It is sad to think such cutiness could have a sad story behind it. I suspect I owe my own somewhat goofy smile to fetal alcohol syndrome. Thank you for the info. I really do want to learn more about the diseases that can affect bunnies this way. Thanks again.
Anonymous, don't be sad for bunnehs with the aftereffects of e. cuniculi. A lot of them are perfectly content and adjust quite fine to their "wonky" state. Sometimes it bothers their people more than it bothers them. I don't know what Bennett's background is, but he looks like he's a well cared for bun, enjoying life and disapproving like a pro!

Bennett is a very well cared for and spoiled bun - this picture was taken at an opportune moment when Bennett was licking his lips :). Just happened to grab a great shot!
It is sad that there are bunnies out there that might be another reason for a bunny to have such a disapproving face - other than the obvious lack of human intelligence.

Grammar issue - "be" should be "have - it makes more sense that way.
And it is sad that bunnies have to deal with such a lack of human intelligence - it's enough to make anybun wrinkle his nose!

I lifted my big white bun, Luna, up on my tummy the other night and sneaked a peek of her little mouf and she gave me a very similar look... I don't think that's good...
