Is the Ebil Mz. Hazel a cottontail? She sure looks like one. Beware them cottontails. They are wild and have no genetic tolerance for doopidity of our species. No mercy, no quarter, no pity from the Wild Bunch! We are doomed.

That's it! Beware the end is nigh!

If Ms. Hazel is a cottontail you've had it. Attila the Bun was a cottontail and boy could he hold a grudge. If he got mad at you for something he got even. It might take him a week but eventually he'd get you.

LOL Hazel has some amazing color and so does his brother, but they are not cotton tails. I am not sure of the breed but they are a mix of netherland Dwarf and something else according to my vet.

Okay, and so what is the "bad" news?

BB, someone else told me that if you've had one heat stroke you are at greater risk for another. She was pretty sure about it being a heat stroke. On the subject of multiple instances, my ever helpful husband explained that whatever it is, if you are enough of an idiot to do it once, you are probably enough of an idiot to do it again. Right now I need you to send me a bright, cheering affirmation like - you gotta love them. Please.

Notice that some paint is worn off the metal grids behind Hazel. That is caused by Hazel's hoomins trying to break out of the pen that Hazel and his brother keep them in. Maybe we'd better mail Hazel's hoomins a cake with a metal file in it.....

Janet2Buns : Brilliant comment! But do we seriously want to provoke the ire of this bunneh?

I fear not.

On this occasion at least, I know when I am outclassed and outgunned.

Also, I see that Hazel appears to have expressed and deposited behind him, his opinion of us!

I feel suitably insulted.

Hazel-Rah.
The first and most famous of rabbits of that esteemed name was a smallish "woild rebbit", and this particular Hazel here pictured is living up to the legend, both in appearance and in cunning intelligence.
This Chief Rabbit is on a mission to exterminate the worst plague this planet has ever encountered-US.
Godspeed, Hazel-Rah.

Anonymous, hypothermia AND heat stroke that are conditions that come on faster and easier the second time around. Especially heat stroke.
But tomorrow is a balmy 80's, then Friday, the first day of the OK State Fair, will in the 70's with a chance of showers. Thank You, Jesus! Let it rain, let it snow, let the north wind blow. I am feeling poetic. I just finished The Hobbit. LOL.

Oh what a heart warmer! At least it's nice to have it warmed up before disapproval flash freezes it ;-)

Fleetie: Good point about not unduly annoying the bunnehs. They are known to have hair trigger tempers, so who knows what might incite a blast of disapproval. Best to keep our heads down and scuttle around, doing our BunChores quickly and quietly. Hoomins should be seen and not heard.
