Looking up to Lola is the only proper perspective for us, lowly hoomins :-)
Lovely Lady Lola.Great parody, brandi b!
What an enchanting little bunn. She is so elegantly alert, gracefully wispy. Mademoiselle, may I be your foot stool?
What do you suppose the prize is for a REALLY great chair? That one looks like home decor by my Mother-in-law.
great verse Brandi b,but the chair should be a throne not baby sick green thing like that but I'd happy being her go for and run around joe too!
RG, that is a beautiful chair, and it sets off Lola in the most lovely way. I have always wondered if these delicate little rabbits that resemble hares are a special breed or if it just occasionally happens that a bunn has that lovely air. I believe I have already indicated that entrants for the braided garlic draw are most likely going to take the high road, but I would expect some bit of well deserved savagery from your Mother-in-Law.
Speedy, your Mum is probably going to insist you take a time out for the unkind things you said about Lola's chair. Green is a lovely colour quite often favoured by the most discriminating of bunns. Besides, you have to go get ready for your pillaging foray with Racer and we don't have thrones over here anyway.
I know a secret, and I am going to whisper it in Lola's ear. I think she will appreciate it. "Brandi B has a three bunn family now, and the latest addition is a BWB who is also a little girl."
Brown and white lop, actually. I am not worthy of a BWB yet...And she is getting quite high and mighty and very comfortable thumping her disapproval. Her name is Minnie and she is a sweety, and very demanding of attention when someone is around, nose bumping and shoving her head under our hands. My husband was rubbing her head last night, then pulled his hand away and said "she is vibrating!" lol. He also says petting her feels like touching (face/hand) cream.
That's my adorable Lola! I love her so so much!
Marina, she is so beautiful, prim and proper. She looks like Rabbit Royalty. I wish all rabbits could be as pampered and loved as Mz. Lola.
There is something special! She's a big white bun! I LOOOVE HER! SHE's A BWB!!!
We have been summoned to appear before Lola because we, as her servants, committed an etiquette FAIL.When we laid the table for Lola and her important BunGuests, we arranged the cutlery in the wrong order. We put the carrot knives and forks OUTSIDE those for the parsley course. Parsley is the starter, and so its cutlery goes on the outside. Carrots are the MAIN course, and so those items of cutlery go on the INSIDE.Stoopid hoomins really seem to have no knowledge of protocol and etiquette for BunFunctions. Madame Lola is NOT pleased with us. And rightly so.Hoomins so fail at AristoBun service!
But, Fleetie, you immediately recognized the ghastly misstep of us ol' run of the mill hoomins. Clearly you are very special. Now, if you can just start critiquing our work before Madame Lola screams and faints, you would be making things a whole lot better for us lesser dolts. What do you say?
OMG I'm having so much fun reading all these comments! Some people seem not to see the beautiful bunny in the pic, paying more attention on the chair (wonder why), but that's ok! Brandi B, thanks for the grat parody! Anonymous 1:47, Lola is a "lion head" rabbit, she's very expressive and photogenic, isn't she?Fleetie, I just love your comment! Thank you guys!
Anon 1:47 to Marina, thank you for sharing your bunny with us. And, thanks for letting me know she is a lion head. Don't worry about comments about the chair. Like most doopid non-Brazilian hoomins we have no sense of style. Fortunately here in Austin we have Brazilian stores and restaurants and sponsored groups that get together to learn Portuguese. And during SxSW and the Austin City Limits festival there is lots of terrific Brazilian music. Anyway, I hope you and the lovely Lola, are looking forward to hosting the Olympics. I am looking for her to be one of the Torch bearers!
I can't get past Lola's lovely "ruff." It's just so beauteous I would gladly sit on the floor to gaze at it at eye-level.brandi b, srsly.
