"Hand over the treats, hoomin, NOW!"These two are in fine Disapproving form; especially Tuppence, off in the distance! If the treats don't get handed out soon, there is going to be trouble, and lots of it!The glint in Alfred's eye says that he knows Tuppence is going to unleash a storm if the treats don't materialise soon!Such a fine pair of Disapprovers!
Why do the big gray rabbits sit by the windows?Because they want to.
ALFRED AND TUPPENCE!!!! Alfred heard something especially doopid and it curled his ear! I would totaly go all Woody Woodpecker on these two and snorgle them til they exploded with rage!!!!!
Brandi! you always want to gamble with you life by tempting fate and snorgling disapproving bunnies
Tuppence is deep in Zen meditation and is Not To Be Disturbed. The tranquil view from her windows adds to her sense of calm. Is it any wonder that Alfred is trying to keep us away by glaring at us? Tuppence is finally able to mediate, and we stoopid hoomins might wreck it by our ceaseless yammering. THUMP!
Yes, J2B, Alfred and Tuppence are two Zen Bunnhism masters sitting in their Japanese garden of raked carpet, seeing how raked sand gets between their toes. They meditate deeply on the koan "What is the sound of one bun napping?" and will soon achieve bunlightenment as long as the hoomin doesn't disturb them.
Rabbits' Guy: Exactly. No point us humans pretending we have any say in this.Yep, their majesties were enjoying their daytime snooze, and were not pleased to be woken by a nosey human- though the treats I was bringing did mollify them somewhat. At least I escaped with all my fingers intact.
Good job, Manu! Alfred and Tuppence are lovely!
Manu, you have lovely rabbits. I love the bent ear! It knocked me over today!
I guess it's just me, but I am not really getting any Buddhism out of these two. It's something more along the lines of, "No, you are not going to get to see the Boss today". At best they might be the fierce creatures that I was once told tried to frighten people away from the temple door, away from self-knowledge and enlightenment. I may be confused about all this though. Anyway I would really like to know more about the sound of one bunny sleeping, and if Tuppence calls Alfred, Freddie, and well, how Tuppence got her name. Does it have something to do with how much the lives of those who displease here are not worth?
Tuppence looks like she is sitting on a Roomba. Tuppence DOOMBA!!!!!!
Y'know, I have no idea what they call each other in bunny-language. We call Alfred 'Alfie' most of the time, and Tuppence 'Tuppy', or the even-less-dignified 'Tuptup'. She got her name from the Agatha Christie character, just because. :-)Janet2buns: Thanks! They certainly think they're special... SixBunnies: Alfred's ear is cute by accident, not nature- evil desexing tattoo left his ear all sad. Adds to his charm though. :-)brandi: Tuppence, cleaning a room rather than adding to its mess? I wish.
Poor little ear! May plagues of frogs, lice, flies and boils be visited on the stoopid hoomin that did that to little Alfie!
J2B, those are way too merciful for the POS hoomin that did that to our Alfred. (all DR rabbits automatically become the property of DR fans).I can think of a few things I would like to tatoo on that sorry SOB.
brandi b: In our part of the country, tattoos are done with branding irons! Get the fire hot for that jerk! We'll brand him ... or her!
I wish you could put "Like" on posts on this Blogger forum!
Haha, yeah, different vets = different idea on tattoos. Gwenny escaped without one as she was fixed at a different vet who said bunnies' ears were way too sensitive and there was no need, anyway. If we ever get new buns, I'll definitely ask for no tattoo, as honestly, you can't even see them any more so what's the point!
