Thanks, Karen!

LOVE the name!!! Not even a shirt of mithril could protect us hoomins from this level of disappointment. :-)
Or perhaps it is Mithril who needs that substance, to be protected from hoomin stoopidity?!
(S/he looks like my bun Oscar's sibling!)

I want to wear Mithril. Literally. I don't mean her pelt, I mean HER! Or is it Him? 6R got me confused...hehehe

And people will say of me "You are full of surprises, Ms. Brandi B."
You know, when the cave troll tries to skewer me, and my Mithril vest of Disapproval, which the Dwarves have mined deeply and greedily for in Morea, repulses it's spear. Then we snorgle and binky and thump the troll on his "baggins" (I slay myself, I am so darn funny) and have ourselves a nice fruit salad served by Orcs.
This is a legit scenario, folks.

A bit floppier, and this could be HRH Queen Phoebe! Love you, Mithril!

Is this a new breed that is part bat?

That picture needs to be framed.

And then placed in every hoomin's home so we remember how worthless we are in the presence of everybunny.

I sure hate to disappoint a disappointed rabbit that is already disappointed ... but I am sure I do.

Eek! Help! That bunny needs first aid! Quick, get the stretcher, the one filled with treats and naked dancing bunnies! I can't stand to see such a sweet baby sooooooo disappointed.

Heheheh...you guys just crack me up even in the presence of such disapproval

@ Anonymous,

NAKED?! Well no wonder Mithril disapproves. A naked Bunny is a shaved Bunny. Only Hoomans would be so stooped to think of fiber and plastic blends as anything but chew toys.

A well groomed Bunny is a well dressed Bunny. Face it, you hoomans be jealous of our fur patterns, what with your spotty fur coverage; none of if soft and luxurious. The one place they have enough to give decent coverage they cut! CUT! Not groom, or shake off. They don't even make decent nests with it for there young. (Not that we can fault that. It's such un-fluffy fur.)

FUR! Everybunny say: FUR! Now shed *that* all over those stoopid hooman's cloths!

Bunnicula-tellin' it like it is...

Uh, bring the stretcher with the dancing bunnies who need to be groomed?

Poor Baby, Step back and give this bunn some ear room.

brandi b said...

Hey, isn't that coat pattern called Chinchila? Round those ears out a big and our Mithril there looks like a giant chinchila.

I want to snuggle a silver bunny! I must have a rexie snuggle and a silver bunny snuggle. Those are my goals for 2012!! I can't actually be a slave to anymore bunnies ... the ones I have are already complaining that I'm not doing a good enough job at my bun chores ... but I do want every bunny I see to come and live with me! There has to be some sort of defined syndrome for wanting every single bunny one sees....

anonymous said...

There is 6Bs and in its final stages those poor unfortunates who are stricken start seeing other species like chinchillas or beavers or nutria as a defense mechanism instead of additional bunnies, a final coping mechanism before their final collapse. Please seek help while you still can.

And guinea pigs. Some people start seeing guinea pigs... the symptoms can be treated, but the disease is so far incurable.
Wear a ribbon of black and white (like a dutch rabbit) to show your support for research and a cure of Elmyra Syndrome. One Bunny is too much and a million bunnies are never enough.

Mr. Mithril was a proud, elegant, strong, noble, and much loved pure-bred Chinchilla rabbit. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinchilla_rabbit )

I once saw him leap, flat-footed, about a meter straight into the air - the greatest bink I've ever seen.

Aunti said...

BTW, he was a New Zealand pure-bred and I don't know how that compares to the American Chinchilla rabbits.

He looks like mercury and is twice as deadly to hoomins ...

SixBunnies said...

Aunti, please snuggle him for me... He looks a bit cranky! I can believe a binky that high from a handsome dude like that! :)

At the county fair, if you did really well at a game you got a prize from the top shelf!

Often they looked a lot like Mithril.

It is probably actually good I never did well enough for the top shelf.

Quick, quick! Bring RG a stretcher. The one with the top shelf stuff - like Top Shelf Margaritas! And, and BL dancing in the attire of her choice! RG has been injured and is feeling a little down. Intervention required out there!

Thank you DR and Tithril. For always having robust, snugly, fuzzy, dollop of warm disapproval, just what my soul needs on a day like this :-)

anonymous said...

ITthe9th, and everybody else, let's cheer up a little! The bunns will think they are winning! DR is not the place where the bunnies win; it is the place where they DISAPPROVE. We are all okay. Everything is cool. Oh, except, ITthe9th, you shouldn't cheer up. You misspelled the bunny's name. It could get ugly.

Ijon Tichy the Nth said...

My apologies to Mithril an anonymous. But cheering up now, I think that was not too bad for a Monday ;-)

Went to see The Watch the other day and got all nostalgic because they kept playing NWA. I felt like I was in 7th grade all over again.
So listening to gangstah rap and browsing bunny blogs yesterday evening... You might think Eazy E and Rabbits don't mix. You would be wrong. Angry West Coast gangster rap and rabbits fit together very well. I imagine bunnies have "stop him in his tracks, show him that I am ruthless..." going through their heads when they have to thump a fool.

janet2buns said...

@brandi b: Mithril looks quite capable of popping a thump in some hoomin's @ss.

ITthe9th, glad to hear it. Keep cheering up and we wish you some really good reasons to be ever more cheerful.

BB, sigh, amazingly though I really don't understand most of the nouns you used, I got the message. It is great to see a new generation with its own stuff that resonates to the rabbit, but as a 60's teen, it will always be, "I am Bunny," for me.
