And here we have Lickety, showing the latest in Bun Disapproval; the Grumpy 3AM. Isn't it simply Fabulous? Yes, you too can learn how to crate this harsh and unforgiving look to use upon your stoopid hoomans by simply using these 3 trick. First: be woke up my eedeot hooman chatter. Second: Find your food dish where your litter box should be. Third, and this is most crucial: Find the bowl *empty*. Now go forth all rabbit kind and show off your new disapproving look for the fall season bu thrusting it upon the frail facilities of all hooman kind! Heck, show it to the yappy neighbors dog too!

Heads will roll - maybe even have by now.

I let my rabbit into the fenced veg garden one fall for a hop around. Unbeknownst to be, she dug a tunnel under the asparagus and ate all of the roots! It takes years to establish an asparagus bed and it was gone in a day. (You can see this rabbit at www.HenCam.com.)

One look at Lickety knocked me off my chair. And I"m not even kidding!

Wow, so much to say here...
I want that dutchie there giving the yappy dog advice. I want that bunny. That face is killing me with kyoot.
Terry, I know you have heard the saying "If the Marine Corps wanted you to have a wife, you would have been issued a wife". Same thing with rabbits. If your bunn wanted you to have an aspargus bed, she would have left yours alone. I have no sympathy for you as it must be punishment for something hoominly doopid that you did, either by accident or design. Oh, and congrats on having such a deviously clever bunny.
On to Lickety. He IS cute, however, he is cute the way a baby demon would be cute. Like, "AWWWWW lookit!! That baby demon is trying to claw his way into my heart, through my eyeballs! Ain't he just a little stinker!" FINALLY a rabbit that looks as malicious and devious as the withered, black and cold hearts that drive them to treat us hoomins like the woyms we are trying to pretend we are not.
Lickety looks like a shark with ears...
'...And, you know, the thing about a shark... he's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be living... until he bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white and then... ah then you hear that terrible high-pitched screamin'...'
And uh, that about says it all.

Wow!

The face that launched...

...a thousand surface-to-air missiles!

It looks as though Lickety has had one too many hoomins in his day, today.

The next hoomin Lickety meets today will only survive as a scorch-shadow on the nearest concrete surface. All else is vapour.

I'm out of here.

MOST INTENSE

That bunny actually looks mean. I know he can't be mean or ebil or wicked. It is just that he really looks that way. I vote him scariest DR ever. I really want his hoomin slave to send the site a cheery message that says Lichety is really a honey bunny. Hey, a little reassurance here!

Terry, I think BB and I must have gone to different sites. I saw lots of lovely chickens and goats, but was just about to decide you had let the little bunn have it over the asparagus. Just then I met Candy, as alarming a name as Lickety I might add. Did I go to the right site?

Some one of our gardeners needs to explain to L about compost and the circle of life. Then again, maybe there is a pamphlet or something.

Oh, the snout! It adds that extra touch of disdain.

It so looks like Lickety is about to leave a nasty present in the place where his parsley should be.

I am Lickety's caretaker, boarding him and his bonded partner, Loki for a few weeks. He is AN OPINIONATED DUDE! I have yet to convince him that certain areas are off limits, and he refuses to accept my authority. Or that I have any authority at all.
Now how can I convince his owners that he, uh, ran away? Yeah, that's it, he ran away while I wasn't looking.

mej42, We are here for you. Moral support, advice, commiserating over whatever the little ones "artistically reimagine" for you. How did anyone talk you into keeping their bunns for a couple of weeks? Who are these masters of deceit? You know they are never gonna pick up those bunns from you, right?

Jan said...

Haha anonymous - never gonna pick them up!

This is the most seriously angry disapproval I have ever seen--on this site or anywhere else! Reminds me of the famous Mad Bluebird photo!
mej42, I hope you are being handsomely compensated by L and L's hoomins!

Lickety is ebil enough. Throw in a Loki...Talk about demons!! Yikes, what a pair!
I am SO thrilled, unlike Anonymous there, that the countenance matches the tude.
Cute and Cuddly my Aunt Fannies Fat Fannie!!
Mej42---you got suckered, my friend. If they get to be too much, send them my way. Or I can send you a priest. Do not feed Loki and Lickety any peas...

@mej42: Perhaps Lickety was dissatisfied with his former hoomins and decided to try you out. Judging by the expression on his face, your bunny tending skillz are not too great either. That's OK, I suspect there is not a hoomin alive of which Lickety would approve.

I think we just found the new frowny-face emoticon of bunny disapproval!

I love that bunny! I bet he is a handful! I know it is terrible, but I have to laugh sometimes when they get all cranky and stompy. I know I will regret it someday ... probably soon...

SixBunnies said...

He can run away to my sunroom/bunroom anyday! Mr. Cooper will give him a good run for his money on crankiest bunny in the house!

Yes, anonymous, you went to the right site. Although called "hencam.com" it is in truth, of course, ruled by the rabbit, as we call her "Empress Candy" who (ahem) rules the roost. The only chickens allowed in her hutch are ones she allows. She gets the prime piece of shade. She rings her bell if I'm late to feed her (late is 7 am.) At almost 9 years of age, she's had much time to perfect her attitude.
Brandi B, you are right, of course. I have replanted an asparagus bed in a new place. Out of sight of the bunny. Or she would demand that it is hers.

Alas, Fleetie, you are no doubt right. It is a not totally improbable response of a planet of terrified hoomins. Can one wish you a happy Monday on Tuesday. We call it belated over here. I am feeling down right chipper knowing that Candy is out of danger and that the Ladies in Vans will pick up the slack (bunnies in sack) if M cannot handle L and L. "How do I make them think he ran away?" Oh, happy the bunny slave whose mind has never momentarily flitted there!
