All disapproval, all the time.

The sun should move so that I may sleep in it's warmth.
Someone may want to warn the sun about Rosie.
I find that photo of Rosie riveting. ;-)
Lord Frith is God personified as the sun. Frith is the name by which God is known to rabbitkind. All sentient beings know the Lord Frith favors lagomorphs above all his creatures, including (and especially) mankind. True, Lord Frith sent his son in the flesh of man, whom we all call The Christ, but not because we hoomins were so wonderful. No, Frith sent The Christ to perfect our base, pathetic, lowly selves by taking on our very nature. Perhaps it was by the suggestion of a very wise rabbit that Lord Frith chose this path. After all, lagomorphs could only benefit from our wretchedness turned divine. This theosis is a slow process. Rabbitkind is still very much disapproving of our wretched selves and disapproving of Lord Frith for giving us a free will. Only a rabbit would dare disapprove of God. It is mystery that awes even the Hosts of Heaven. Lord Frith protect us from His appointed Disapprovers.
@bb: Does this mean that Salvation might still await us at the end of all this bunn disapprovingness? I mean, it's a hope, even if the road is long. Rosie apparently thinks the road should be even longer.
I think if the Rabbits have anything to say about it, no, there is no hope for us. Free will is wasted on us because we freely and willingly make bad choices. However, Lord Frith is merciful, even if His Hoomin Overlords are not. Perhaps after the Dread Day of Judgement, He will the leave it to the Rabbits to decide what Hell the Damned shall suffer. O shudder, my fellow wretches! Our hope is thin as a blade of timothy grass!Maybe just hope for the best and expect the worst????
The Sun rises and sets according to the whims of Rabbits! Most days, a contingent of Rabbit Elders meet with The Spirit Of Queen Cinnamon to discuss when and where The Sun shall show itself, and for how long.Queen Cinnamon mediates between those Elders and the Higher Powers, for Her Spirit is wise and all-knowing.Meanwhile, I am wondering about the connection between Frith and The Rabbit With The Silver Glow In His Eyes. El-Ehrairah (sp?), or something? The rabbit who tells those who are old and frail that they don't need their achy bodies any more, and that they can cast them aside....Fleetie - thinking of The Silver-Glowing-Eyed One
...And I forgot to mention the obvious fact : Rosie Rabbit has an audience planned in, to discuss the Rising Of The Sun! Let no hoomin think that Rosie has no influence on the Sun! For she does!
Rosie is a ray of sunshine herself. She looks just like Dougal but has the lop ears. She needs a big wet smooch on her nose!
Although I missed seeing new portraits this weekend, I can hardly blame you. Can't think of anything more urgent than playing with Dougal's soft ears and nuzzling that adorable face? (Don't be in tooo much of a hurry to disapprove, young man. Soak up adulation while you can.)
I'm lost - in more ways than one.Is some one trying to suggest that, perhaps, In the Beginning was Rabbit?
RG, why do you think the universe was created? For the Rabbits, of course. Every baby bunn knows this from the nursery. I do believe it's all in the Bible, as interpreted by lagomorphs.
Oh please great bun bun, allow the sun to rise this morning
Hoomins, obey your Bunnies...Bunnies love your Hoomins. Now I ask you, who has more to work on?
Fleetie, There are certain ancient texts which imply all the good things of creation are provided equally to the good and the bad as a consequence of great love. They are showered on bunnies and hoomins alike. That means you, too. Be of good cheer.
... @RG, in the beginning there was just one pellet. So who knows, maybe the Big Bang was just a Big Toot.
Oh the sun shines gloriously this fine morning!! Thank you, Rosie and the Great Rabbit Council and of course Queen Cinnamon!!!Oklahoma has had a lot of rain the last few days. Who do I thank for that? I guess it would still be Rosie? Rosie, can you send the rain to Texas? I do believe they could still use more of it for their crops, which will include lots of HAY!
Hemingway never had a pet rabbit ...
@RG, of course Hemingway had a rabbit! It's patently obvious where he got his inspiration. The Bun Also RisesFarewell to Arms (Yours)For Whom the Bun TollsA Moveable SaladThe Old Buck and the Sea
Too funny, Furbeast.
