The Floppitude of Dougal

1. The bunny about 2 minutes in, on the high left (yes, taking a bit of a bath) seems to have splayed legs? Even when it hops a minute or so later...I've not seen this before.

2. "Which bunny is yours?" "The one that is pretending I don't exist."

I love how Dougal's ears either point at "quarter to" or "quarter after" depending on which way he's looking. I love your site. Thank you for your posts!

I love Dougal's yawn(or was that a roar?)

You've got video, I've got questions.

1. Does Dougal's left ear ever stand up?

2. Is it hard have the best-looking rabbit in the room?

3. When are you coming out with a Dougal plush toy, with the ears set a 3 o'clock?

(Btw, on the YouTube page, "Sociaty" should be "Society." ;-)

There is no bun like Dougal Bun! He just makes me happy! Looking at him makes me think of a 7 year old boy saying, "Watch me, Mom... watch me... you are not watching ... Watch me, Mom. Watch me do this. Did you see?? What did I do? You weren't watching ... tell me what I did... watch again Mom... See ???"

I agree with J, I have the same questions :-) Dougal is definetly the best looking rabbit in the room and I'm totally smitten. Oh gosh, if you ever need a babysitter I'm in LA and available. I LOVE his 3 o'clock ears! He's my favorite flip flopper.

Also, I've set Dougal aka Jowly McJowlersons as the background on my computer cuz he's so darn CUTE! I hope that doesn't make me creepy.

I am addicted to happy hour. I wish it was a live feed 24 hours a day.

Loving Dougal - what a personality - he is very popular.

I will also offer my bun sitting services, don't worry that I'm thousands of miles away!

Hi - I wanted to let you know that I added your post to our Blog Hop on Bunny's Blog. I'm trying to spread the word about adopting rabbits as pets!

AWW did you see that little hotot and Dougal touching noses? Seeing this, I do wonder why it is so hard to bond bunnies. But I am a stoopidererer version of stoopid hoomin, so what does me knows?
Bill and Sharon, you guys need to get a Dougal a friend. He needs a hunny or brobunny to groom those ears. He might be lonely for combunionship. Dougal needs a dutchie.

Brandy, Dougal and the little Goth Princess weren't doing what you think they were doing!

One of the ways that friendly rabbits "fight" is to go nose to nose, vigorously rubbing noses together until they determine who the boss is. The boss then puts her chin all the way down to the ground, and the underling kisses the back of the boss's neck.

They weren't being friends, the little Goth Princess was trying to start a (friendly) fight!

Thankfully, Dougal didn't know that the sweet little princess was trying to boss him around. I don't think anyone in the state would have survived if he had!

But maybe it wouldn't have bothered Dougal if he had known; being bossed by a bunny might be okay in ways that being bossed by a human could never be tolerated!

Hmm, seems like Dougal is spending a lot of time trying to find an "in" with the crowd hangin' at the green litterbox.

Or maybe he needs to use it and is too well mannered to just jump right in!

brandi b: Sometimes bunnies will sit, motionless, nose to nose and chin to the ground, for fifteen seconds or so. Neither bunny wants to admit defeat and groom the other one. Sometimes the stalemate is broken by one bunny pretending she has some important disapproving to do on the other side of the room and hops off.

brandi b: the two pairs of bunns I have now just bonded instantly when they met. however, there is absolutely NO interaction between the two pairs tolerated. in five years of me having these bunns, every single chance they get to fight, they will, despite having lived next to each other via a see through and touch through "fence" for years ...

j2b: you are a bunny expert! awesome interpretation!

VSK - Thank you so much! Efforts like yours really help. To all those offering to babysit,I would like to throw my hat in the ring as well. It takes a village. Fleetie, perhaps the cosmos is trying to tell you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day even if it is just the funny oatmeal that you all have over there, or is it Scotland that has funny oatmeal? Anyway, someday I truly hope the time will be right for you and a bunn and you can join the great mystic caravan of oat servers. It takes a mystic caravan to serve oats to the bunns. Thanks for all the new info, everyone.

Yes the bun has "swimmer" legs. He was born that way. To much inbreeding in his line. He doesn't know there is anything wrong with him.

Does Dougal have any friends who ask him over for play-dates? He seems such a gregarious fellow that his social calendar must be overbooked.

I just watched all the Hoppy Hour videos. It's ridiculous that I get this much enjoyment out of it but I do. I wish they had one in my area. Even though I don't have a bunny I'd go to watch them. Keep the videos coming, please! :)
