Holy buckets, a smiling rabbit.

Katie Katie Katie...
I am a blind follower, a true believer, one of THE faithful. You cannot shake my faith with your "proof". No, I will ramain loyal to this religion I know to be flawless. Rabbiticity. Like Catholicity, but with Rabbits.

Katie, you must repent of your heresy. We all know there is NO SUCH thing as a smiling rabbit.

Confess, repent, and THE ORDER will forgive you and put this whole business behind us.
Self flagellation could not hurt your cause. With every snap of the chain-whip repeat aloud "There is no such thing as a smiling rabbit, there is no such thing as a smiling rabbit..."

I shall plead to St. Cinnamon on your behalf, only because you did not know any better, dear child.

There is no such thing as a smiling rabbit...

"Seren".....I bet it's pronounced "searin' " as in: "When that bunny disapproves of me, I feel a Seren pain stab right through me!"

As usual, we stoopid hoomins only get it half right.

Yes, Seren's ears do form a "Y," but the nose, upper lip, and mouth eloquently form the second half of the deeply profound question most bunnies must ponder: "I?"

you're all wrong rabbits never smile just look bemused some time's and inwardly laugh at the things that humans do and as for y we put up with humans well thats simple you do the things we can't do for our selves and you're kinda entertaining that's Y..sillys

Seren's nose and mouf do indeed form a perfect "Y"!

I wonder whether s/he can form any other letters of the alphabet!

(Like "X", cos "You're about to be an X-hoomin"!)

Also, it reminds me of that optical illusion:

<----->
>-----<

Which one is longer?

I see her little mouf and nose Y now... I thought it was her ears and face that formed the Y. She's lovely! It's only because we can peel a banananananana, Seren. And, we can open a bag of craisins ... just not fast enough.

To Seren:

ICUR

Fleetie said...

Because Seren has 2 "Y"s : Her nosie Y , and her ears' Y !

That little mouf makes a perfect target for a super quick smooch. Just put both hands on those chubby cheeks and SMACK, right on the lips. I did that this morning with my bun. It did not end well for me but it was worth it. I wish my dentist had emergency services for the weekend, though...

Katie, dear, I hope I did not offend you. I should not assume everyone has gone to Catholic School and has the good old Catholic (yes, capital C) guilt/humor...Are you by chance a unitarian? I don't know unitarian humor, but I make a great Secular Humanist joke :D

Brandi B, your apology was not addressed to me so my response will not be much of a comfort, but I thought your comment was wonderful and I hope that in time of need I. too. might be able to count on the your prayers and the intercession of St. Cinnamon, a true friend of God.

Fleetie said...

That she may be, but lettuce not forget that Cinnamon is a Disapprover.

I don't think she makes a habit of forgiving or aiding hoomins! (Not that I dare speak for her, naturally!)

I suspect she would forgive Sharon and Bill for being hoomins, for they rescued her!

But the rest of us.... Hmmm!

Well done on your blog its a catchy idea and makes me smile

No offense taken, Brandi B! I'm not Catholic but I get the jokes. Just a lot going on in my neck of the woods. I have a bunny who disapproves of me on a daily basis. (She seems to like my bf though, so that's a good sign!)

My gosh - after more than two whole days of Seren, a bit of Dougal would be - well - almost like some sunshine after the rain .. I said almost.

Just as we give no thought to an ant or a slug, forgiving or aiding the common hoomin would not occur to bunnies. They are above such petty concerns, their minds no doubt are occupied with loftier thoughts. Just as long as we prepare the meals on time, do our bunchores, and Know Our Place, we will be tolerated. To be forgiven or aided is too much to hope for.

Fleetie said...

Quite right, Janet!

The best we can hope for is to be tolerated!

The hoomin condition is one of: Dodging The Disapproval!

janet2buns said...

Seren would like to point out that at least an ant is hardworking. Hoomins, on the other hand, are bone idle. Is it any wonder the bunnies can barely tolerate us?

Vanessa said...

I like Dougal, but Seren is a welcome guest. I say: more Seren!

I think it is very clear that bunnies ask the big questions, and of course, when you do that, you get big answers, paradigm shifts are made, love and mercy happen. I am not surrendering my position on bunny intercessors, because grace must flow down upon you supper, supper rabbiteers. As I always say, I love this sight, because it makes the hoomins look good for a change. Thank you for what you do.

Sorry, I meant "super, super rabbiteers." Actually it was kind of fun to enter it again, and reflect again on how happy you make me.
