All that disapproving can really take it out of a bunny.

Poor Lan has had to put up with too much hoomin stoopidity recently. Maybe it's time to hibernate, and hope the hoomins will be gone in a few months. Or at least maybe they'll have learnt how to be good bun slaves and do their BunChores properly...

...And not keep forgetting to bring breakfast on time.

..And hopefully they may even stopzzzz...zzz.zzZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....

Hmmm, in Mandarin, "lan(3)" means "lazy"....

Is this lan's comment on the hoomins?

Or did the hoomins choose that name cos they thought Lan was lazy cos of tiring out after all the disapproving? Hrmph, hoomins calling Lan lazy?! Talk about Pot, Kettle, Black!

THUMP!

Sort of reminds me of how some of my students used to make me feel.

Really cute disapproving ears and nose there.

From an email via Etherbun on Yahoo Groups:
Hi everyone,

I got an email from the bunny rescue I volunteer with, Bunny Buddies in Houston, and they are getting in 89 bunnies from Port Lavaca, TX. They are having them transported to Houston tomorrow. They are asking for financial assistance and I was hoping you all could help spread the word. They have a PayPal account and are 501(c)(3) or whatever it is, so you can take it off your taxes. I have attached a link to the news story and to the Bunny Buddies website. If you can help at all, it would be greatly appreciated. We have no facility of our own and usually foster in our homes, but arrangements are going to be made to house them somewhere in Houston so the volunteers can go to one area to care for all the bunnies and to transport them to the local vets for spay/neutering and physical examinations. I'll let you know more when I hear more! Many thanks and please feel free to cross post! Megan

Lan must've had the exact same conversation I had with my neighbors yesterday. Sometimes it's just better to stay in bed than venture out on your own street...
