Dougal has such a handsome face. It is not so much disapproving as it is unimpressed.
Jowly McJowelersons is just too cute and ... well ... just not very disapproving at all... more like the big fun guy everybody loves to have at their party because they know it will be a good party with him there! I love you, Dougal! :)

Looks like Dougal keeps a few nutriberries tucked away in those cheeks/jowls in case of a treat emergency!
And his ears, though disapproving, are very swoon-worthy...
Mr. Mick shares your pain, Dougal--he's still miffed that they didn't even give "his" blog a mention. He suggests a group foot-flick to those responsible.
Dougal is growing up fast. He's getting to the age where he's gonna be a young tearaway.
He met a few new bunbuddies at the Hoppy Hour event, and here we see him the morning after he hooked up with them and went out on the razz.
Dougal is still young and somewhat inexperienced, and might have, er... had maybe a few too many carrot beers. (Actually, let's face it, that problem often doesn't get any less troublesome with the march of the years....)
So here is Dougal, disapproving of morning, and needing a BunShave after a rough night; he's got to that age now; looks a big shaggy and "stubbly"!
Ohh, the head! Make it stop! Give Dougal some fresh, moist greens to make everything better again!
Dougal wobbles to his vantage point to look down for his hoomin slaves.
Dougal vows he's never gonna touch another carrot beer again.

Fleetie, thanks for reminding everybody that Dougal is just a baby. And if you can't go out with your bunny buds for a night on the town, what can you do when life's disappointments get you down. By the way, RG, when Dougal runs, he sure is going to blast the media. Brandi b and 6bunnies better hope Susan and Bill don't show Dougal's fiancee embarrassing commentary from his youth. He is just a lad now, but when he grows up, you all will be had. Sorry, but it is just one of those things set in motion now. I'm glad I'll be able to enjoy your comments for a while longer.
They wanted to use a photo of Dougal in the article but the size of his ears threw off the whole layout.
@Fleetie, uh oh, soon Dougal will be old enough for his own Facebun account.
Many a young bun has regretted posting compromising photos of themselves carousing at the salad bar or slumped over the litterbox the morning after.
I think Dougal's Bill and Sharon will love him in spite of being of a Hare and not a rabbit. It is a tough thing to deal with one's identity when a youth. Sure he is large and awkward now, and the ears may be too big for that head, and looks like a linebacker for the Vikings, but as he matures his experiences and personality will grow into those bananas on his head that I would love to snorgle and scratch.
Time for coffee and donuts. If I have said anything that will be held against me on Judgement BunDay, I have not had my coffee yet.
Does anyone besides me play the kazoo?
