Rascal

I wouldn't give you the
stink-eye if you'd simply bathe.

Thanks, Brigette!

New product idea for Johnson and Johnson:
Carrot-scented soap!

"Gain your bun's approval!"

OK, maybe that would be false advertising.

"Avoid the stink-eye?"

Needs work....

Well, you know--we do it wrong. If only we'd lick our hands and wash our faces and ears that way-then we'd get the rabbits' approval! Or not.

how did dat bunneh knowz I diddna shower yet?

Datz won smart bunneh!

@ Kat - if we did that, I think we'd get double stink eye because our saliva doesn't smell nearly as sweet. :)

Oh, Marshmallow! They could make parsley scented, too! Not sure I'd like collard green scented, but would give it a try ... anything to gain my bunns' approval!

I've been hanging around here too long. Rascal is an absolutely beautiful bunny! I just want to smooch that sweet little nose... And those whiskers. And that wonderful bunny mouf. :-)

Valsainte: and those claws! Ears back, watch for attack! DUTCHIE!!!!

(meeeee, too, though! can't help it! got good health insurance!)

Everybun knows basic hoomin hygiene is beyond appalling. Each day you patiently lead by example, demonstrating the neeed to wash ones face hourly, bathing top to bottom at least 8 times a day, and how to lick between ones toes. But do they watch and follow? *sigh*

It must be hard being a distinguished Dutchie with a fine, twitchy bunny nose and a refined sense of smell, having to be around stinky hoomins!

They don't even know how to wash themselves!

And then there's all that sweaty, furless skin! UGH!!!

Rascal disapproves of us!

MMMM, I love the glycerine soaps that smell like watermelon and strawberries! Wonder if Rascal would love me if I washed with those...
I would rather have Rascals stink-eye than be approved of by humanS!!!!

Look for the next issue of All Animals Magazine from the Humane Society. I wrote a letter to the editor that they failed to mention what happened to a rabbit rescued with a bunch of cats etc at a "breeder" of serval and house cat hybrids in North Carolina. I demanded to know what happened to the rabbit! They are looking into it and might use my letter. I also wrote to them that we needed more stories about Easter season gifts of dyed chicks, ducklings and of course RABBITS.

Furbeast and Fleetie, you are SO RIGHT! We must be an absolute assault on bunnies' sense of smell. Theirs is so much more sensitive than that of ours. HO (Hoomin Odour) must be positively overpowering. If only we'd try washing eight times a day it might help, but Rascal doubts it. Stinky AND stoopid....it's a wonder they let us serve them at all.....

It'll take more than that ...

I'm glad I waited til nighttime to look at DR today because Rascal's disapproval has laid me out flat!

Thank you for your efforts, b. Keep fighting the good fight. Blessings on you and the bunn for whom you may be the only voice in this instance.

b, As Martin Luther King said, "In the end it is not the words of your enemies that are most painful, most harmful, but the silence of your friends." That is only approximately what he said. Thanks for not being a silent bunny friend.
