Bird and Bell have hired a specially trained CSR (Customer Service Rabbit) to deal with hoomin complaints. He will give our concerns the attention they deserve!
@Anonymous: Nope. I just seem to be obsessively collecting all things lagomorph. Wouldn't rabbit luminarias be pretty in a garden or a greenhouse? I have little clusters of houseplants by my windows and they could use more lagomorph decor.
@b: Phoebe and Drizzle say EVERYTHING can use more lagomorph decor! And while they're at it, why is there so much hoomin bean junk cluttering up their home?? They let a few hoomin beans in the place, and they think they OWN it!! They resolve that in the New Year, the hoomin junk goes OUT!
@b-Just a small correction. The bags with the candles and sand in them are farolitos. Traditionally, luminarias are the fires that are lit outside of the churches on Christmas eve to welcome the Christ child. I know that us gringos use the two interchangably, but hispanic New Mexicans will tell you that is not correct. You really wouldn't want a bunny playing with a luminaria inside of your house!
b and J2B: You are my heroes! Uh, oh, I know how to spell the plural of "heroine," but not "hero." I would like to make the culturally sensitive choice...Forgive the bean brane, and dream of Lagomorphs.
New Mexico hispanics...harumph. East L.A., REPRESENT...
OMG, I can't believe that came out of me.
I have been in Oklahoma toooooo long!
I would rather be in New Mexico. Hispanics there are the dominant lifeforms. Hispanics in Oklahoma are maids, roofers, gardeners... you get it... I guess I should be glad I get mistaken for a gringo here, or else someone might hand me their laundry.

... definitely would not mess with these two. Even Bell has difficulties looking at what happens next ;-)

@J2B - Look at the glow of disapproval building up back there.
Not a good time to be trying to make a package return - especially if you have already opened it.
As the last unfortunate creature that talked to their friend is looking rather poorly, I think I'll skip the whole thing.
OHHH I want a grumpy bunny luminaria! Enlightening Disapproval. Illuminating Exasperation. Contemptuous Glow. SO Pwitty pwitty.
Aww - More of Els's buns!
She's also the one who rescued the wonderfully disapproving Blue

RAN: Cool! I am learning Spanish and appreciate the insider info.
These two authoritative Dutch (if not Dutchie) disapprovers are not to be messed with by mere hoomins! Heed this warning!
