Here's an update on Dougal: he's getting more used to us, though his first instinct is still to bolt into his cardboard box. He's coming out more often, mostly to run laps (as seen in the video below).
Great binky, Dougal! But be careful not to make it appear that you approve too much! Those hoomins must not be allowed to become complacent.
And speaking of those hoomins: Regarding that top picture: Dougal does not approve of having greens draped around his ears. Dougal is not a Christmas tree, and he is not to be decorated.
I see what you're doing there, mister!! Love the playful binky and then the flattened "OOPS! I've been discovered!" May you have many happy years with this sweet bun-dle.
I think Dougal still has some growing to do. Those ears look a size or two too large for the rest of him. It makes him look SO ADORABLE......OOOOhh, I mean "it makes him look SO DISTINGUISHED."
All this rabbit approval, especially on a Monday morning, is sure to throw the entire week out of whack and perhaps even cause the earth to wobble on it's axis. We can only hope for a double disapproval tomorrow to stabilize the universe.
Why does everyone always say funny things about a baby's ears. Sharon and Bill may be Regents for a while longer during Dougal's minority, but this is the crown prince of a world power. What if he looks through his baby book and sees these pictures. Worse yet, what if the proud parents pull the book out and show it to important friends when he is older? Oh, well, perhaps we will be forgiven having been overcome as we were and are. Bon Voyage, little one. Mom has a great giggle, huh?
I saw that -- first he did something naughty by going for the treats. Then he did a cute little binky -- then he acted all scared to make you two laugh. So now you have to give him the treats...
@Fleetie: That #%+^* auto spell correct tried to be ever so "helpful" again, leave it to a hoomin to invent a system with insufficient brane. Thump! I await the iBun, with built-in auto disapprove technology.
Dougal is SUCH a handsome bun! I only wish I could run my hands through his wonderful soft fur, no matter how much he might disapprove -- some things are worth braving the consequences for!
Congratulations on finding another bunny friend. He is adorable! He reminds me of my long-ago rabbit, Rabbit. I wish you all a long and happy life together.

Nice binky moves!!
There is NO way anyone or anybun could disapprove of this!!
i LUFS him! And I love how much joy he's bringing you! Merry Christmas, eh?!!
If I'm not very much mistaken, I saw a very happy, celebratory jump there... Sort of embarrassing for a bun, a display of pleasure like that...
Yay! Happy bunny dance!
Of course, then he got caught being happy, which is all kinds of embarrassing... :)
I love how his ears aren't sure yet of where to go... up or down?
I am convinced that Dougal is, in fact, a cat dressed in rabbit fur. (Have seen my cats do the exact same moves many times.)
Go Dougal! Keep the humans guessing :)
THOSE EARS! I love them! I do not see how he stays upright, being so top heavy! Hahahahah! What a great bunny you have!

THUMP!

...now with added binkies!
Dougal is Dandy!
Those ears!! I have fallen in love with those majestic ears already!
And yes, I also read "Oops, someone saw me showing happiness!" in that frozen expression! :-)
looks like a special and very lucky bunny, is he wearing the popular ear extensions? or are those real?
isn't it nice to have a baby in the house? :)
I see that in the background, Queen Cinnamon is still keeping a watchful eye over her young successor, making sure he is all right.

So surprised that Dougal CAN binky with all that ear weight! Gosh he is a cutie patootie bunny. SKWEEEEEEEEZZZez for Dougal.

Don't worry, Furbeast. When Dougal goes to BunSchool, he'll soon disapprove of the incorrect use of apostrophes, and you'll get your wish! :-)

Well played, Dougal!
I also love the picture with the greenery 'twixt his handsome ears.
"Well, if I'm wearing some sort of holiday coronal, shouldn't you be bowing lower?"
How wonderful. I would love to have more updates on how he is doing

Congratulations on you two and Dougal getting together. Hoppy times ahead. Awesome ears, even when crowned with greenery.
Love the "thump and flatten" move @ :23. So glad to see you enjoying a bun in the house. :-)

Dougal has a bit o' the canine in 'im! My Ranger Dog does that when he wants us to play with him.
:) Congrats!
