blue, you looks like a kangaroo smiling at me.

This confirms what I have always thought--that my animals are horrified by my awful furless flesh!

Because Blue is a method actor (s)he has made the ultimate sacrifice to bring us this PSA. So sadly, yes, a rabbit was harmed in "the making of" which explains why Blue is obvy recovering from a killer carrotini hangover. A fresh greens smoothie is definitely in order. And an apology:

On behalf of all useless and furless hoomins, may I say that we repent and are truly sorry for these our misdoings.

Wow, Blue, you are such an imposing bunny!

No wonder you are looking down that super-rabbity nose at us hoomins.

I am guessing Blue is a Rex rabbit, like Queen Cinnamon. No wonder that disapproval is so intense!

Thank you for all your comments! Blue is indeed a rex. I rescued her about 5 weeks ago, from a very negligent owner/farmer. She had four open feet, diarhea and a bold neck. So she was rather 'Blue' then...
Now she is all happy, sweet and kissable. Her names now stands for Blueberry Muffin Sweetiepie.
Luckily she doesn't read English, so she won't have nightmares about robes!! ;-)
Thank you all,
Els and Blue from The Netherlands

Oh!!! It's you!

I know Blue from your posts on APR!

And YOU USED BLUE AS A PILLOW!!! (Which was such a cute picture!)

Yes, she was in a bad state and you saved her life.

So we all approve of you, a wonderful bun-mum!

@Imaginary friend: Thank you for rescuing Blue from such a sad life, and thank you for providing her with such a good future! She looks like she's enjoying herself already, now that she has her own human to disapprove of! I would love to see the pic Fleetie refers to, where Blue allows you to use her as a pillow. Can someone provide this stoopid hoomin (me) with some kind of a link?

Fleetie said...

I have the link in my copy buffer, ready to post here, and I really want to!

But ethics/netiquette
for some reason prevent me doing so, in case Els doesn't want it posted here.

I disapprove of ethics sometimes!

But I think you should post the link, Els!

@ Imaginary friend: Blue is a beautiful rex! My wife and I rescued a lop in late 2007 and he now fills our life with joy (and a bit of mischeif) I hope you have the same rewarding experience we're having.

Oh, OK Fleetie. Of course you must violate neither ethics nor netiquette. Good for you for being respectful.

Oh my, what a face!!

Fleetie, it is you!
How wonderfully decent of you to think of ethics, especially as it's my face we're talking about... but I will sacrifice my privacy to show off Blue once more:

(it was taken after I had been ill for a couple of days..., so please be gentle, don't disapprove too much...)

Elsewhere:

I suspect that Blue ONLY ALLOWED YOU TO GET AWAY WITH SUCH... OVER-FAMILIARITY because she is grateful to you, perhaps even approves of you, for saving her life, and stopping her physical pain.

You are, indeed, rewarded for your good deed!

Oh, thank you, Els, for saving that precious baby! Give Blue a kiss on that sweet nose for me. Sorry, this post is way to soft and approving for DR... But, this is such a good reason to approve!!

(I believe that when Fleetie decides the time is right to become a bunny parent, he will save a Rex Bun!)

Elsewhere: That picture is just beautiful! What a lovely bun! Blue's fur looks so velvety, no wonder you risked disapproval and rested your face on her. Blue probably can't believe her good fortune in getting you for a human.
