The shorts or the socks? Does it seem to anyone else that Beatrix has a bunny tatoo on her face? I am pleased to discover there is a way to bring joy to bunny hearts. Just let them riducule you.

BunFan: They can be behind sartorial woes (and, well, all woes), but if you haven't had the joy of looking through the DR Archives, you've probably missed the helpful way bunnies can approach these things with a genuine eye out for their hoomins. For example (roughly) "oh, plaids and polka dots. We are intereviewing for a job as a dork wad?" or "Oh, well if it were me I would just burn your wardrobe and start ofver."
