Perhaps Fleetie will have a formula involving weight/volume/disapproval ratios. These little fluff morsels are actually more dangerous than they appear.
I hope Fleetie also explains why the reverse is not true - I think it is called the Paradox of Floppsy - or some such thing I remember once explained in a Physics class.
Clearly, they are still miffed about the whole ice cream thing.
Hopefully we will hear from Fleetie. As J2B indicates, there is legitimate concern that excessive compression may trigger a Disapproval Event. Anyone without a banana may be at serious risk.
Sorry, it just doesn't make sense. "Compression" in a physics context MEANS reduction of volume, so the volume of disapproval has to decrease.
The AMOUNT of disapproval would likely remain constant (analogous to its mass, or molar quantity), and its DENSITY would increase commensurately with the compression.
Of course, there is the the thermodynamic aspect, in which the temperature of the disapproval increases as it is compressed....
I wonder whether the compressive agent in the case of these two bunnies is the cramping of their style by the ugly and stoopid hoomins that they for some reason suffer to share their home. ("We're not with Stoopid! He just lives with us! Don't walk so close, hoomin! We've got a rep to protect!") By this means, these two rabbit's disapproval is compressed, so that it becomes denser and hotter.
If we don't stop cramping these bunnies' style, we're going to get frazzled!

Fleetie, you've been asked to supply a great deal of explanatory detail on Rum and Raisin so I hate to trouble you further, but is there an expression "a rum cove"? It isn't in the local English, and I was wondering what it meant. I will accept a simple "can't tell you on this site" which is a possibility of course, but otherwise I would be grateful. By the way who names bunns R&R?
Yes:
"Rum" is an old expression meaning (I think, based on what I've heard) something like "odd; strange, unsual", usually to describe someone's personality or behaviour.
"Cove" is old English slang for a person.
So I think "a rum cove" would mean something like "an odd character".
