I get that look from my buns sometimes when I lean down and try to kiss them on the head ... I really, really hope they never decide to rip my face off ... because they could very easily do that ... Lupinas is showing great restraint in not going right through the camera and attacking her human ...
"Lupinas voted best smile. Varsity Track and Field, awarded for best long jump and high jump. Would like to be a botanist specializing in lettuces and carrots."
My rabbit used to do that with his lower lip too. I don't know what it is but sometimes I'd try to close his mouth and he would just bare his teeth again.
Thank goodness other people's rabbits do this. We didn't know about this and I took my rabbit, Dodger to the vet thinking there was something wrong with his mouth.
I don't know if its a display of annoyance, disapproval, or happiness, but it certainly can look creepy!

Flee to be you and me.
Too late ...
The smile is creepy on a rabbit since they should be frowning. RUN!!
.... ooooooh Lupinas is toooooooo much!!!!
I'm hiding in the back of my closet with all the lights off. Do you think he can find me here?
@dorrie17: I don't know! I'll find out once I get the courage to crawl out from under my bed! Lupinas looks so EBIL!

Lupina looks as though Her Plan is just coming to fruition!
She sees the hoomin walk right into her booby trap! This is going to be good! (Not for the hoomin, obviously!)
She's a pretty bunny though! (Pretty scary, too!)
Fleetie has figured out Her Plan. Lupinas lures us with her loveliness, and then *insert scary music here* it's too late!
It looks like his high school yearbook picture.

@Hadley: And you know he was voted "Most Likely to Disapprove"! It was unanimous!
