All disapproval, all the time.
Disapproved of by
WOW! Just WOW! I feel totally, absolutely, deeply disapproved of. As is my soul got disapproved full of holes. Now there's me slowly leaking out all over the place. What's whit this bight ligh...
HI..I'm Flip's mom...if you notice, he's lying by the floor vent which is his favorite location in the house...usually, he claws off the vent cover and tosses it across the room so he can have an unobstructed blast of air from the opening. I get these looks all the time if I interrupt any activity he is engaged in that he doesn't want me to be a part of. And letting the air blow in his face is definitely one that he wants to enjoy alone.
@Betsy ... totally understand :-)
Betsy, Flip's perfect! A bunny knows what a bunny wants!
1. That is hilarious that he likes the air vent.2. What kind of bun is he? He looks just like my female, and we don't know what kind of a lop she is.
@Betsy: Are you sure he's taking the cover off an air vent, or is it a......PORTAL TO ANOTHER DIMENSION !!Maybe the air blast is the wind from HADES ! Perhaps he spends time in this other dimension to escape the unrelenting stoopidity of the hoomins of this world. He doesn't want you coming near because he doesn't want any hoomins transporting themselves and fouling up his other world.
The winds of Flip Flop know no bounds! F-F can send his disapproval many, many miles across these mysterious "Hare-waves"! Betsy must have an amazing immunity built up.Ho Ho, the verify word for me is ductenes .. I'm next I guess.
Flip Flop is adorable, despite looking so disapproving!I would LOVE to see the warm air blowing the fur on his lovely bunny face! "Mmmmmm, warm air....!"CAPTCHA word right below here now: "payfire"!
Fleetie: My Drizzle has this "mad scientist" harecut. He's adorable when the heating or the air conditioning blows his tufts of lionhead mane around. He's a little asymmetrical at the moment as Phoebe has groomed off one side of his 'do.
Janet : Well post DrizzPics then!!!Mind you, if you do that, you'll have to adhere to protocol, and also post pics of HRH Queen Phoebe!
I'm not sure what kind of lop Flip is...I adopted him from the local city shelter where he came in as a stray in June of 08. He weighs about 7 lbs so would that make him a mini-lop? I don't know that much about breeds and if I try to ask him about it, he gets furious. So I leave it alone or else I'll be dragged into the pit of extreme disapproval which is hard to climb out of.
Just another note to show how much control Flip has exerted in my home....he has not seen the inside of a cage in over 3 years! That means he can disapprove from any location in the house at all times. Please someone.....come free me from his rule!!!
But you love being ruled by a rabbit as fine as Flip Flop! I am sure you do!He is truly a regal rabbit, and it is your privilege; your honour to serve him!
... what Fleetie said :-)
Sigh....it's not just Flippy...there are 4 parrots who also direct my every move and thought. One of them, a green cheeked conure named Gidget, is in love with Flip and follows him everywhere, snuggles in his fur, and lunges and bites me if I get near them when Gidg is courting Flip. So not only am I disapproved of, but my fingers have little cuts and scabs all over them from Gidget defending Flippy's honor. How does one find oneself in such a situation????
I've posted some additional photos of Flippy at http://www.flickr.com/photos/betcsbirds/ if anyone wants to see his orneriness, along with some of my other pets...
I have just been to look at your pictures of Flip Flop on on Flikr. What a fine, beautiful rabbit he is! I especially like the one where he is facing Gidget and having a conversation! He is a lucky bunny to have been rescued by a hoomin like you. Even though he may not approve of you all of the time, I am sure that deep down, he does approve of you, despite the fact that you are a hoomin!
Oh, and I like the "Snow digging" one as well!
Thanks Fleetie....if the truth be told, he actually loves me...he bites everyone else who tries to touch him and will nip their feet or legs if they are sitting in the living room. I have to put him away sometimes when people are over because he doesn't want anyone here but me and him (and Gidget!) He follows me around alot too. He was a horrible behavior problem at the shelter and he is damn lucky I took him; spraying urine and trying to mount the legs of anyone who wanted to consider adopting him. The staff warned me about his... errrr sexual acting out.... But once he was neutered he improved greatly and now he's so good he doesn't even need caging! His only problem is he doesn't like other people in HIS house...
