We're not shutting down Disapproving Rabbits.com. We're just not going to be posting pictures of Cinnamon. DR will continue into the next year at the very least.

We heart Cinnamon here, and we are glad to hear of her retirement, although we'll miss seeing her photos.
What a relief--this website always brings a smile to our faces even on the worst days! Cinnamon has left a wonderful legacy of disapproval!

PHEW! Disapproving Ferrets just isn't as much fun as DR.
Oh, good. I, too, thought DR was ending. Glad it's not. I love this site and its strange humor. I'm going to miss Sunday Cinnamon, but it's understandable.
Good luck, Cinnamon. You're such a young looking rabbit for 13. I can only hope my own buns live to such a ripe old age (and beyond) fueled by tremendous amounts of disapproval. Your cute frown shall be missed.
However I am glad that the site will continue. This is one of my fave sites out there; some of your pictures and captions are so hilarious and witty and completely spot on. So I hope to see many more disapproving rabbits to come :D

I read the post to my parents aloud, getting tearful that Cinnamon is such a happy, healthy 13 years old. My sister's bun is somewheres around 9 and still thumping when she doesn't get her way (which is seldom!). They too were worried this meant the end of DR, but I knew the Disapproval would go on. We'll miss Cinny but I can understand the retirement. She's got trouble to get into and you're just taking up her precious time!
As much as I love DR--I understand having an older pet (My terrier is 13 on Christmas Day). I will truly miss everyday Cinnamon!! I hope you decide to keep the site going though, it makes me laugh.

yay!!! I don't know what I would do without DR. I will regularly go back to cinnamon archives, but for the future, I will try and send more pics of Hazel and Shadow to help keep the disapproval going!!!
I truly hope this site continues for the foreseeable future..it's been a bright spot on bad days more than once and a day-maker as well! I'm sorry to hear about Cinnamon needing a break, but gosh, she is doing so great for a 13-year-old bun! :) That's wonderful. Our current bun is battling breast cancer and she's still kicking, but you never know when the other shoe is going to drop with rabbits. :/ She's been going for several years still though! Wishes for good health for Cinnamon and a thanks for a truly wonderful site. I have a blog myself and can appreciate the effort that goes into it :)
