Goth Bunneh?!

"Bunneh Lugosi's Dead! Undead, Undead, Undead!
The Buns have left the bell-tower;
The Hoomins have been bled;
Red velvet lines the black box;
Bunneh Lugosi's dead
Bunneh Lugosi's dead"

Sorry, I have to go and apply my bunliner now.

(It's hard, though, when you have no reflection.)

Fleetie, I know what kind of bunny you should get when the time comes...a Hottot! They come with built in bunliner!! If it's a boy, you could call him Marilyn. Perfect!

That is either a nasty south wind or intensive disapproval. Yikes!

Janet : yes, Hotots are very accomplished and attractive goth bunnehs!

But I would never call one "Marilyn". Ugh! Can't stand him!

Fleetie: Yes, after posting my last comment, I realized Marilyn Manson isn't Goth at all. Which brings up an interesting point: if you had a Hottot bun, what would you name him/her?

Fleetie said...

"Siouxsie" or "Fat Bob"?!?!?!?

I don't know! Good question though! I think really, the name should partly reflect the bunny's personality.

Actually, my gut feeling is that goth and bunnies don't necessarily mix TOO much. I think I'd prefer to keep the cuteness of bunnies distinct from all the harshness and implied gloom of goth, so that I might decide to name the bunny something unconnected with goth.

I might allow a tenuous connection, for example "Charlotte". (See "Charlotte Sometimes"; a Cure song inspired by a children's book of the same name.)

So, is Pinot a Grape Of Wrath?!

I see your point of keeping the cuteness separate. It's also true that you'd have to meet the bunny first before you'd know what his/her name should be. I had a totally different name in mind before I met Prince Consort Drizzle. His brown markings were so clearly caramel drizzle on his white vanilla fur, he could be called nothing else but Drizzle.

well, as a gothy girl myself and a lover of bunnehs, I would consider naming hottot gothbunneh "Siouxsie" "bunhaus" or maybe "bunneh lugosi" as fleetie suggested ;)
