What a nice "bunny space"! Lucky bun. I can't believe she can be trusted not to eat the phone cord though ...

With many colors of disapproval, no doubt.

Stephanie is a fan of Philip Larkin, whose poem reminds her of us:
To Failure

"It is these sunless afternoons, I find
Install you at my elbow like a bore
The chestnut trees are caked with silence. I'm
Aware the days pass quicker than before,
Smell staler too. And once they fall behind
They look like ruin. You have been here some time."

Richard--thanks for the comments on Stephanie's space. In the photo she is sitting on top of her 2-story house. She uses her play castle as a stairway to get there. She likes to sit there and monitor my neighbors. She doesn't bother with the phone handset cord (the curly cord), however she severs every phone line cord she can. Since the wall phone has the line cord hidden it is safe from Stephanie.

@Karen: I notice Stephanie has one of those pink and white tippy bunny toys. They don't make those any more! She's a lucky bunny to have such a lovely playhouse and a tippy bunny toy.

@Karen: Stephanie looks just like my Benjamin (DR Dec. 3, 2009)!
"Rose are red, violets are blue; hoomins are stupid and don't have a clue!"

Stephanie is looking out and down onto her territory, making sure no stoopid hoomins are doing anything stoopid there.

Not a poem, but Stephanie sometimes amuses herself by singing:

Ten stoopid hoomins, sitting on a wall,
Ten stoopid hoomins, sitting on a wall,
And if one stoopid hoomin should "accidentally" get disapproved of to death and fall,
There'd be nine stoopid hoomins sitting on the wall.

Nine stoopid hoomins, sitting on a wall....

It whiles away the time, and leaves Stephanie feeling happy!

OK, @Fleetie, you made me laugh out loud with your "song"!

"I'm working on a poem." - That's just too funny. I don't even know why, but I appreciate the laugh. Staring out the window wistfully...
