Strict teacher Miss Jilly has already decorated the hoomins' results sheet with a black mark, because, as she points out, "practice" is the noun form, and when it's a verb, it is "practise" with an "s"!

I think it's "practice" (spelled the same way both times) in American English?
I've only ever seen it with an S in British/Canadian stuff.
I've looked around online trying to find a reliable reference source for Fleetie's point, but I can't find one. Miss Jilly will THUMP anyone citing Wikipedia!!

Hoomins exist to serve rabbits. That is their only raison d'etre. (And forgive me for not knowing how to render here the circumflex on the first "e" of "etre", that denotes the once-present following "s" from its Latin origin.)
