Lucy (and Jack)

Yeah, it'd be a shame if something
happened to that new car.
Fortunately, my friend here can help
you with your insurance needs.

Thanks, Catherine!

I don't know. Jack looks like he disapproves of our credit score. I sense a high deductible.

"Acts of God" are not usually included in insurance policies. Will this insurer include "Acts of Rabbit(s)"?

Oh, wow! It would be awesome to have an "acts of rabbits" clause included in all of my insurance policies ... I'm thinking it might cover, chewed carpet, cords, base boards, furniture, window sills, my pants legs and shirt tails, wooden spoons stolen from open dishwashers, hay that will not come out of car carpet, accidental peepee spots, clogged vaccum cleaners and a/c vents, destroyed linoleum, tunnels in the yard, and bodily injury to my collar bone from bites, my neck from back feet and my wrists from well all bunny parts ... okay who woke me up from that dream ????...

Oh right - NOW I should buy insurance from a "friend" of a Dutchie? Uhhhh - no thanks. It smacks of "insurance" from the mob.

@SixBunnies: And even if the policy had a high deductible, it would still be worth it! Chewed carpet, baseboards, furniture; that adds up to a lot of money. The real question is whether it would cover the marriage counseling costs incurred after spouses discover the Acts of Rabbits.

@RG: I'm pretty sure that is an offer we can't refuse ... Don't want to find any cut off flower heads in your bed tomorrow morning ... I'm sure the rates are reasonable ...

@J2B: You are right ... or the bill from the grocery store for the veggies. I think he does the math estimates in his head, but he's never asked for the exact amount, thankfully ... I might be collecting bunny fur and having to weave it into marketable items to reimburse the household account for bunny veggies if he knew just how much it takes to keep their little tummies healthy!

Lucy is a very kind and generous rabbit. She is about to make us an offer we can't refuse!

I once had to smuggle one our lamps out of the house after my husband left for the day and get it repaired with the same colour cord so as not to arouse suspicion. I then paid the lamp guy with cash so as not to leave a paper trail, and smuggled the lamp back into the house before my husband returned. That Act of Rabbit went undetected.

Never trust a Dutchie, especially when its partner is a gecko. And never get involved in a land war in Asia.

We live in da country an' acts of rabbits, da ones dat twy to commit suicide-by-car, are sorta common fer Mom. If day makes a speshul exclusion clause, Mom won't be able ta say she ditched da Yukon to MISS a rabbit...
