Get well soon, Jasmine. You are a very lucky bunny to have such a caring human to take you to the vet to get you better...even if your cute little bunny face says otherwise!
No worries! I will give everyone an update tomorrow afternoon when we get back from Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. I don't think that Jasmine is going anywhere! And she is out of the collar now, but i couldn't help but take a picture of her in it. It was just a funnel of disapproval aimed at me!
Helmi, thank you for taking such good care of Jasmine and risking a pint of blood by getting close enough to remove that thing! I hope you got away undamaged! Kiss her for me!
@Helmi: You realize that Jasmine is just taking her time to decide your punishment. *picturing Jasmine lurking on a tall piece of furniture, waiting to pounce* Death From Above!!
hey...maybe Jasmine is actually wearing the "Cone of Silence"....you know, the one from the old Get Smart TV series! That way she doesn't have to endure any of that silly hoomin chatter...
....but from the looks of her Exceedingly Vast Disapproval, that cone needs to be replaced with noise canceling headphones.
Jasmine Bunny UPDATE! We saw a second vet that is heavily recommending surgery (a second time), we are taking the course of stronger antibiotics to try to knock out the infection with in the next 21 days, rather than put her through the pain and agony of surgery a second time so soon after her first procedure. She was her normal perky, bouncy self in the vets office today and tonight has been eating her normal pellets which is fantastic! She spent the entire afternoon chinning everything in her cage (including my hand) and if it is possible i think that she might already be feeling better. Thanks for all the love and support from everyone, all the positive thoughts. I tell her that everyone is hoping that she is feeling better. THANK YOU EVERYONE!! <3 From Jasmine and I
You need to be back at full strength so that you can disapprove of stoopid hoomins again ASAP! (But give Mom a break for at least a short while because she has looked after you well.)

Poor Jasmine bunny.
I hope she gets better soon.
I would disapprove too!
Oh ... someone's losing a limb for this humiliation!
Not the cone of shame! Some hoomin must be punished!
Thanks Fleetie! Poor Jasmine has a staph infection near her ear...poor baby bunnito. Certain indignities must be suffered on the road to recovery.
no one likes a sad clown, poor bunny
Oh nooo, not the cone!
Go ahead, say something about your television reception. I dare you.
My god! My bunny would have that thing off in a second... he's like Houdini-bun and would NEVER stand for such foolishness!
I've shown Jasmine's picture to all of our bunns so they can see how fortunate THEY are.
It did not work.
Jasmine, you'll be better soon, and you'll still be the cutest bunny on the block!
... hope Jasmine gets better soon :-(
Bet she's trying to decide which leg comes off the hoomin first.
such a sad little bun bun... Hope she is better soon!
Oh, NOT a sad bunny. Jasmine is broadcasting to the Mother Ship for a strike of annihilation upon the offending hoomins.
There is no defense. Surrender, stoopid hoomins!
Poor poor Jasmine. I can only imagine the retribution awaiting her hoomin after the cone comes off.
(Still doesn't prevent me from wanting to beep her nose and snuggle her fur).
@Plan B: We hoomins think we're so smart, but there's no way to evade the air strike Jasmine has called in! We're doooooomed!
That cone is serving to magnify and direct the disapproval. Get out of the way! Quickly!

Jasmine disapproves of the fact that not only did her stupid hoomins take a picture...they let the whole world see!!
Pets from my household send their sympathies that their hoomin slaves have similar poor taste. Snapping pictures! The fools!
ouch i am bearing the battle wounds of trying to feed her dinner right now....
Aw! Sad face. )-: Get well soon, Jazzy!
Pleas report back over the next few days on how she is doing.
"Please", even.
The Very Large Disapproval Array
Poor Jasmine, what a sad face. I hope you are better soon.

I didn't know that rabbits also wear the cone of shame...
>Go ahead, say something about >your television reception. I dare >you.
Between rabbit ears and satellite dishes, it's kind of a target rich environment, isn't it?
Wishing Jasmine a fistful of papaya bits as panacea for humiliating photos...
Here's a picture of a bunny in a cone. Your argument is invalid.
Jamine's sad bunny pout makes my heart hurt.
