Disapproving Rabbits app

So our nephew is an iPhone developer.

And he sent us a Disapproving Rabbits app that he made, and asked if he could put it on iTunes.

We said "sure."

Here's the thing: it's just the Disapproving Rabbits page. It takes the RSS feed, which you can get for free, and puts it on your iPhone or iPod touch. Of course, you could also do this in Safari on your iPhone, for free. The app costs 99 cents. Just so you know.

We're still figuring out what to do to make the app special, like adding bonus bunnies or something like that. But we were excited about the idea of having a DR app, so we decided to put something together quickly.

If you have any suggestions as to what you'd like to see, let us know in the comments.

If I were to suggest something for this app, it would merely allow you to disapprove of things you see in real life or on the internet, more for self-satisfaction. You could set up something with a phrase bank and a picture of Cinnamon, allowing you (or the bun) to randomly disapprove of being stuck in traffic, messed up office supply orders, interns, and the like.

THEY HAVE A CAT PAINT! PLEASE MAKE A RABBIT PAINT!

basically its like cutting out bunny pictures and pasting them on your own photos.

if this app is already in use, sorry to re-suggest!

Well, I don't have any suggestions but by golly - this going out to the potential users for their ideas is certainly a novel thing! You think it might catch on?

How about something like a Magic 8 Ball only with disapproving answers? You type in your question and then a disapproving rabbit appears with a negative response.

It could be constructed using a set of 15 how ever may pics of rabbits, and a stock set of 15-20 possible responses that the app randomly matches together to provide your answer.

That's quite cool of your nephew and when I get an iPhone I'll buy it even as it is just to support him and you guys! The random disapproval or magic 8 ball ideas sound cool as a bonus!

I almost bought this app until I noticed that it was just the webpage. Still it would be nice to have the buns on the go like that.

I love the ideas that were suggested...I'd buy an app that incorporated all or some of those things in it. Of course the more the merrier, I always say :D I like apps with lots of stuff to do in 'em, and I wouldn't mind paying more than .99¢ for it.

Instead of Sunday Cinnamon you could have a daily Cinnamon.

Very cool to have a DR app!! I already have it as a bookmark on my iPhone so that I can get the day's disapproval away from the computer. I do like the Magic 8 ball idea as well. If we buy the app now, and lots of groovy new things are added...will they just download as and when?

The DR app is rubbish! It only has the past month of buns (well, 24) and that's it......it hasn't been updated for the last week or so. I prefer the website as a bookmark :-/

The app is fun, and since I love the site I was willing to pay for it.

Now it's free, and has ads. Why couldn't people who already paid for it get it ad-free?
