I think they should start off closer to the hoomins, with their investigation.
Hmmmm Fleetie, you bring up an interesting point. It's entirely likely that the stoopid hoomins would try to pin the blame on the toy bunny. It's well known that hoomins have a questionable code of ethics. Ducking the blame would be just the kind of thing a bunch of hoomins would try to do.
