Haha! @Helmi: Mine take it inside their "hidey boxes" so I have to crawl inside the condo and stick my arm inside the hidey box and retrieve it ... punishment for letting it get empty! Ha ha!
I get the noise of newspapers being shredded and tossed around if I don't get up with the radio alarm. By the time I get out to the dining room, there's little pieces of paper and hay everywhere. My punishment for delaying their breakfast.
"The problem is not so much that the bowl is empty, it is that you are stupid. If you were smart, the bowl would not become empty in the first place. Your purpose in life is to anticipate my every whim."
@Helmi; the fact that cuteness overloaded adorable bunnies could possibly do anything so full of consternation make me want to adopt at least six of them. "Secretly, I would loose them all at my teen who flatly refuses to rouse herself in the mornings for school." Such sweet vengance would be MINE!
@Stacy- oh they don't just beg in the morning they will come and visit in the middle of the night and pretty much jump on your face to wake you up to give them more oats and pellets. They have both taken to beg for scraps while I pack lunches in the morning...I am waiting for the day that I open the fridge and find them in the veg drawer
Boopy has a system, very smart diva that she is, step one play with loud toy ball that has bell, mom didnt answer my page, step two ring bell on ka-bob, still no response, step three grab ahold of hay holder with teeth pull back and let go for loud obnoxious banging sound...ahhh theres mommy now!

"Fill 'er Up!"
Racer eats on the 2nd floor of his "condo". Hungry? - push the dish down the hole to floor 1. That gets our attention!
Our buns start slamming their food dishes around promptly at dawn each day!
"Do you think this is acceptable??"

I do love a good AM bunny bowl hissy fit. Nothing like a stroppy bunny to get you going in the mornings ... (-:
Give me food or give me death!

HRH Queen Phoebe plays curling stones with her dishes...."HOOMIN! SWEEP!"
It is clear that Winston is a very intelligent bunny, who knows exactly what he wants, and exactly when he wants it.
And exactly how to make that obvious, even to stoopid hoomins!
Very mannerly disapproval
the dish is too small? haha
