Queen Cinnamon surveys her domain - and does mot approve of what she sees.
Cinnamon sees that she has been negligent. But she is back now. Back to bring order to where chaos has dared intrude. Back to bring subservience to hoomins who have developed Ideas Above Their Station. Back to wrest dandelions from Those Who Do Not Deserve Them. Cinnamon sees that her winter absence has allowed would-be usurpers to believe that they hold some kind of sway in her Queendom.
Today, things are going to change. Order will return to where chaos has dared encroach.
Queen Cinnamon is here to restore The Natural Order Of Things.
Those who do not fall immediately into line will be met with the harshest cold, stony disapproval - disapproval that could only be generated by Queen Cinnamon!
To mark the 2010 dandelion season, Queen Cinnamon has decided that commemorative coins will be issued. This is the Cinny portrait from which the new dies will be cast.It portrays HRH at the peak of her disapproval of all things hoomin. Since we are mere indentured servants and are not to be trusted with money, this is the only time we will see this portrait.
Janet : One of our customers at work is The Royal Mint. One of the programs I wrote for them generates the repeat orders for special coins for schemes you can sign up for. You can sign up to schemes that send you various different coins every month or whatever, as part of a series. It keeps track of which coins you've had already, and which ones are due to be sent to you next, and so on.
I wasn't aware that a Queen Cinnamon Commemorative coin was being struck! Presumably it'll be available in silver, gold and platinum. Queen Cinnamon recommends the gold one; it's closest to her colour.
@Fleetie & J2B; You know; you can get stamps made too! I was over at Jackie Morris' site (http://drawingalineintime.blogspot.com/2010/03/in-tower-of-song.html) and she got stamps made, I think HRH deserves this totally. Someone should let her servants know.
What I really love is that without a caption of any kind; our beloved Queen get's so many comments!

Cinny, utter disapproval toward the universe and all within it seems to have left you quite sad.
Cinny, contemplating the mess the hoomins have made.

oh cinnamon why so serious?
Cinny is so beautiful. She is just stunning. I hope my kids look as good as she does when they're her age.
Long Live Queen Cinny!
I'd imagine that Miss Cinnamon doesn't travel with a bodyguard, despite her stardom....that look alone could kill!
