Marine bunnies! Lucille and Peter Goo are not just landlubbing bunnies; they are comfortable at sea too!

On another matter: The dandelions in Manchester now, this year are UNPRECEDENTEDLY numerous and dense!

Queen Cinnamon would be in Bunny Heaven if she were here. (HINT HINT!)

I took a few pics of a typical patch on the way home form work just now.

You don't need to be on FaceBook for this link to allow you to see the pics:

I've never seen anything like this kind of dandelion population here!

Prison walls reduced to rubble under the intense dual disapproval stare. Lucille and Peter Goo should be contracted out for demolition. They're better than a wrecking ball any day!

"... FROM work..."

Stoopid hoomin! Again!

OMG: Captcha word for this post: "foody" !

Wow Fleetie! You need a bunny (do you have a bunny?)! It would be in nirvana, rolling around in the dandelions, stopping now and then to chomp a mouthful of cute little yellow flower or tasty leaf morsel.

J: I can't have a bunny at the moment.

I am a responsible bunny NON-"owner". It wouldn't be fair on any bunny for me to have one. I live alone and I'm at work all day. Plus home is not suitable.

I just have to admire other people's bunnies!

Ooh fleetie! Lovely dandies. Can you please send some up to Northumberland, as my garden has very few, and I have four hungry long eared munchers!!

In fact, it's the hoomins that are prisoners in Buncatraz. We have been sent there for some misdeed or another against Bunkind. We are stoopid hoomins, after all. Guards Lucille and Peter Goo have trapped us when we tried to make a break for the mainland. Their disapproval has made us stop dead in our tracks, making our recapture easy. We will be put in solitary bunfinement as punishment. There will be no bellies to snorgle, no soft fuzzy heads to stroke......harsh punishment indeed!

This is a really neat photo! And janet2buns, I laughed out loud at your comment!! Fleetie - the dandelions are beautiful . . . it's funny that here in the U.S. they are weeds that we try to get rid of. I have never seen them grown in a field!

Oops - I actually lol'd at bunnygirl . . .

Oh Fleetie, my Moko and Rory would be so joyous to partake of your wonderful dandylion fields! My yard has been mown by our little Bunmowers already and we have to wait for the next batch to pop up (fingers x'd soon, my heart can't take the withering stares).

rhi : Dandelions are considered weeds here too, and are removed by gardeners.

I was out doing some photography last Saturday; it was nice and sunny. Up by the side of a busy road, there was a grass verge absolutely CARPETED in tall yellow dandelions, with the odd tulip growing out, above them all. It looked quite beautiful, so I took a shot on my film camera, so that the dandelions in the distance would all blur into a sea of yellow, but pretty much just the tulip would be in focus. I won't get that film developed until at least this weekend, so I don't know whether it'll turn out ok, but I am hoping so.

Juliebun : Ha ha! I think they'd be a bit wilted and unappetising by the time they arrived at Northumberhand! Send or bring your bunnies down to nom the dandelions here! They won't run out - as long as you're quick! Soon they'll all be turning into dandelion clocks and the air is gonna be absolutely *FULL* of dandelion seeds floating around!

I quite like seening seas of bright yellow dandelions myself. Plus it makes me think of bunnies!
