OMG, Fleetie, the first time I read that, I read it as "afterburner", and thought "What's so funny about that?" Then I read it again!! I should have had faith in your sense of humour, Fleetie!!
We need an expert in BunPhysics to fully comment on the mass/speed potential of Capt. Rocky.
Well Rocky has deployed his ears into their swept-back configuration to minimise hare resistance, and his front paws are together for the same reason.
Given his powerful back legs to get him airborne, I shouldn't be surprised if Rocky could exceed Mach Bun or even 2, so that he and his disapproval would be there before you even heard them coming!
Perhaps Dr. Bunford could investigate Rocky's aerodynamics in a wind bunnel, with smoke trails.
We thought it was a preview from da new fall series about rabbit serial killers.
