Truffle and Egg

There's a human in the garden.
Release the hounds!

Thanks, Lorraine!

Truffle and Egg look like spectators ensconced for a day at the races. The only question is what type of hound will be used: a sight hound, such as the Afghan; a scent hound, such as the bloodhound; or the most feared of all, the dachshund, complete with wienermobile.

Oh, I know Truffle & Egg from a group on livejournal! They're the cutest disapprovers ever! :)

Reminds me of a jousting gallery. In this particular instance the buns are letting the hoomins impale each other and then merely harumphing. There's no clapping - either way.

Truffle and Egg are Very Important Rabbits - and they do NOT APPROVE of ugly, lumbering, clumsy, oversize hoomins trampling and flattening their otherwise lush, fresh grass. Hoomins are inferior anyway, only able to walk on two legs rather than the more civilised and stable four legs that bunnies use. Oh, sure, bunnies can take the mickey out of, and imitate hoomins' silly two-leg walk if they feel like it, but such a mode of perambulation is a source of mirth and ridicule to Civilised Rabbits.

Now get off their lawn! And stop squashing their grass!

Truffle is reacting with well founded horror at the ill mannered hoomins, while Egg is trying to remember where he left the projectiles to throw at said hoomins. Egg is disgusted that the hoomins haven't learned their lesson yet.

"And Truffle's spirit, raging for revenge,
With Egg by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a disapprover's voice
Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the buns of war,
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With hoomins, groaning for burial."

To Janet -- Henry the Eighth?

As fer their digs, you didn't notice the retractable armored gate to protect them from hoomins an' hounds alike.
