Oh dear. I don't think I'm going to be getting a pay rise this year.
In fact, I'll be lucky to escape this performance review without injury and severe disapproval.

I think i am getting demoted! I wonder if bribering works in this situation? I have carrots...
Oh no! The dreaded perfurmance appraisal! You're supposed to take it in stride, see your weaknesses and strengths, but really it's a stressful exercise in office politics. And when it's done by the chief bunappraiser, who cannot be bribed, well, you'll wish you'd resigned like Palin.
Lint looks like a boss I once had who fell asleep in the middle of my performance review! I don't think he was exactly impressed either!
Lint seems to big to put in a pocket, so I guess he isn't pocket lint.
Lint is saving time by conducting our performance review in a box. He can just pack us in this box when we "accept a transfer" to Lint's branch office in the Upper Volta region.
@Dawn: All packaging in Canada must be in English and French, regardless in which province the product is sold.
This is not going to go well....

Coincidentally, on THIS DAY (July 7th) in 1969 (exactly 40 years ago), a law was passed in Canada saying that French and English had equal status as languages:

Ooooh Fleetie, you know more about Canadian history than I do, and I'm Canadian!! *blush with embarrassment*. It's interesting though, although Canada is bilingual on a federal level, the only bilingual province is New Brunswick. Quebec is officially unilingual (French) and every other province is officially unilingual (English) Confused yet??

It's just that I am in the habit of checking out the "on this day" page on Wikipedia nearly every day. I did it this lunchtime, and that particular fact stuck in my memory until this evening, when by extreme coincidence, it became relevant and useful!
I know nothing of geography or history, having dropped both the very moment I could at school!
So, no credit due here, I'm sorry to say!
