All disapproval, all the time.

Oh my gosh, that's the cutest thing I've ever seen!!!!!
gah - that is adorable
Bunneh: "You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, hoomin?" I sure wouldn't like to find myself looking down the wrong end of a disapproval from Halo!
I can't believe the bunny is justing sitting there! He must be one special bunny.
I read this everyday but never post. BUT...THIS IS THE MOST HILARIOUS/CUTE THING EVER!
Not to be a downer, but rabbits are terrified of heights, and if that rabbit slipped, it would likely sustain a crippling injury from that height.
Murray, that is probably the definition of "downer."
a couple corrections/notes:Though I put Halo on the horse, my friend/fellow volunteer Lisa took the photo.Halo is NOT for adoption, she is a resident at MHRR - she has been with us nearly her whole life and goes to events and classrooms to teach others about bunnies and their care. She is very used to scary things and annoying things and is VERY tolerant of it, which is why she got to be a resident instead of placed up for adoption. :)About the heights - she is incredibly used to being held (and unfortunately incorrectly by people who are learning how to hold a rabbit), and the saddle was very wide (enough for a human butt, far wider than just her!) so if she made a move in either direction, it would take her a few seconds to jump all the way off, but I was JUST out of camera range in case the horse moved, though Pal is actually a schooling horse that was injured and not being used for the day... VERY unlikely to move. You probably can also see that the saddle isn't even connected, its just lying on top of the horse. :)
gee yap, lil bunnyroo!
Halo wants to ride off with Blondie and find Arch Stanton's grave. She's way better looking than any of those ugly hoomins, that's for sure.
The sequel will be called:'A Fistful Of Droppings'followed by:'For a Few Droppings More'
Ride 'em cowbun!yep, y'all just head out to the back 40 where the foreman planted that parsley, I expect the fences might need checkin'. (wink wink)
Haha, Bill's right, Murray...you were DEFINITELY a downer. ;)And it's not true that *all* bunnies are afraid of heights, any more than all humans are afraid of heights. There are rabbits who love to be up high--like most of mine!
@Michael: ROTFL !!!! That's PERFECT!
While the picture is very sweet, dont be angry with Murray. He is expressing the same concern I do. It was explained well by the rescue folks but I am with you Murray. Too dangerous. I am totally okay with being a "downer". Broken spine or legs are a "downer"Kudos to the rescue though for helping to educate on proper bunny care. We need more programs like that.
Although Wendy was just out of frame to help Halo if she started to slip, you definitely wouldn't want to try this with just any bunny or any horse. I had my most friendly/tolerant rabbit at the event as well and would have loved a photo of him up on Pal but I'm sure he would not sit still and would probably jump or peer over the edge and slip off. Halo has a talent for sitting still when asked and isn't fazed by anything. Here is a close-up of Halo on Pal: Giddy-up.
Great pic, Halo will disapprove of any species (especially humans). Comment of the week to Michael! I spit water all over when I read that. Great to be graced with the wit and wisdom of Janet2buns again too!
That is really cool.
warriorbunWhat a cute ambassador Halo is. Nerves of steel too. Just as Anonymous said, she must be one special bunny. But I can see why the picture caused concern for her, or even other bunnies. Most bunnies will not do what she is doing there. Great website Magic! Our group is very impressed with it.
"Ride,He's going to jump his horse and ride,He's got a carrot by his side,And he disapproves of human-kind."BunMa
I love this pic! I am Halo's brother's hoomin. We love you, Halo! You're adorable!
CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!
Now cowbun gear? Hat, fringed vest, bunchaps??? Yeehah!!!
While not a bunologist I have to think that certain buns, like Yeubing, display certain talents and this is Halos. And by all means, check out the close-up.
Too funny, this site is often the funny bone tickler of my day.
Hi all, yes, Halo's special talent is sitting still for long periods of time... several hours in a basket is her true specialty! Yes, most buns and most horses this would NOT have been a good idea, and I do greatly appreciate the concern. I would not have trusted Mango or Lil Bit with this, maybe Alfred... I have known both Halo and Pal (the horse) for 3 years and trust them completely, as I trust them with young children (again, a big no-no for many bunnies and horses!). I just wanted to clarify for those who were worried, not to step on any toes. :)
Woah! It's Pal at Marydale! Recognized that barn immediately. Didn't expect to come on here and see something so familiar!http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v16/91/44/23401633/n23401633_30545598_9338.jpghttp://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v16/91/44/23401633/n23401633_30545591_6156.jpg
