Peanut is not actually protecting the veggies. He is pushing them away, as they are not up to his precise standards. He is sneering, to show disapproval for such an inferior offering. His indentured servants had better smarten up, or he will be forced to wreak havoc!!

I'm with Janet on this one. This is a still from an OSHA Bun training film demonstrating the power of the Ultra-Sneer. It proves it's commitment and the seiousness or its lethal effects by actually pushing AWAY the greens. Yikes! Institutionalized disapproval is the worst!
