The Dark Side Of The Moon!

Run, rabbit, run!
Dig that hole, forget the sun.
When at last the work is done,
Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one.

Cinnabun, what have we done, that you moon us like this? That's more than just giving us The Bunny Butt. This level of disapproval portends a tough week. Great.

Quick, get Cinny some pancake to appease her!

Oh don't go out tonight
Cause this bun will take your life
There's a bad bun on the rise:-)

Totally aside from the essential cuteness of this moment --

Are we not a bunch of old farts to know these lyrics soooooooooo well?

AnnieMcPhee said...

Happily an old fart loving the lyrics, kate!

Cinnamon, you slay me yet again! (Looks around nervously for the angel of death.)

I just had to google "There's a bad moon on the rise", cos I had absolutely no idea what you were all on about! Apparently it's a Credence Clearwater Revival song.

I'll stick with my Floyd for now. Mind you, I'm 37 (1971 vintage), but just bought "Atom Heart Mother" (1970) (though I already had a copy from a friend for ages). So I guess this makes me an old fart too!

A friend, who got me into Floyd, and I, were talking about their "Animals" album (1977): Basically, the album has tracks entitled "Dogs", "Pigs", and "Sheep". We were trying to make up Floyd-"Animals"-esque lyrics about "Bunnies"!

I wonder what music Cinnamon likes! Does she approve of any hoomin music?

1971. Some say music died that year because of the Carpenters lol. (Naturally I disagree.) Get ye Credence Clearwater Revival: Chronicles STAT! It's all about the buns.

Song's been in my head all day today. Might as well give in to it:

Lyrics under 'more info.'

Ok, yes, I have heard it in various night-clubs.

I think there might be another version that's heavier - unless that's another song?

"BAAAAD MOON RISING..."?

So ... anybody Stuck in Lodi Again???

AnnieMcPhee said...

Oh lord, stuck in Lodi again.

todd gunther said...

but who will stop the rain? proud mary, perhaps?

maggie said...

And you people wonder why the bunnies are displeased..

bunnits said...

Hey, bunns and CCR rock!!!!!

janet2buns said...

"Stuck in Lodi again"???? That's what the words are??? All these years, I thought they were saying "stuck in Ohio again" or something like that!!!!!! Are hoomins allowed to disapprove, or is it only for the buns????

Rabbits' Guy said...

That's OK ... many people think it's "There's a bathroom on the right"

Pickyknitter said...

That. Is. So. Cute.
