Cilantro!? Ptui!

Thanks, Darlene!

The burden of being handsome is having to
disapprove of all the ugliness in the world.
But do they have to be stupid, too? Sigh...

Thanks, Mark!

See, this is what happens if you smile:
They tear your head off and
eat the cookies you got inside!

Thanks, Kati!

Rabbit Bites: David Allen Grier

Time for a new Rabbit Bites video: and this time they interview comedian David Allen Grier, who starts off with the standard bit about eating rabbits and then decides to get really edgy and take on The French.

Presumably they cut the bit where he asked what was the deal with airline peanuts and how Scooby and Shaggy may have been high. Still, Buns and Chou Chou are entertaining as always, so give it a look.

Mowgli (and Ari)

"What the heck is she wearing?"
"Winner for worst imitation of a dress is..."

Thanks, Rachel!

You will therefore bring me another treat.

Vote for Disapproval

Just got an email that one of our featured buns, Scotchie, is taking part in the Bissel Most Valuable Pet Photo competition. If Scotchie wins, then Bunny Buddies of Houston will get $10,000, and Scotchie's owners will get a vaccuum cleaner, which I assume will scare the heck out of Scotchie.

The deadline for this round is tomorrow, the 19th, so if you're so inclined, go here and cast your vote (or go here and see all the competitors).

The Early Warning Disapproval System.

Thanks, Beccy and Jude!

Sunday Cinnamon

I don't care how sick you are,
it's time for my first mid-day snack!

Cough, wheeze, cough.

Saturday, February 16, 2008

Let's see, how tall are you?
Hoo boy, this is going to take a while.

Thanks, Savannah!

This photo is not in black and white.
The disapproval sucked the color out of the room.

Thanks, Aaron!

I periodically get requests to link to sites here at, but being a lazy rabbit who enjoys loafing in her cardboard castle, I don't usually get to them in a timely manner. However, after some prodding by the Big One Who Picks Me Up, here are a couple of sites which may be of interest to you:

The Little Warrens is a rabbit boarding facility in the UK which is having a contest for photos of buns with a "Skwirty," a white "splodge" on part of it's body.

Holy Cuteness is a frequent commenter on this site who also has a blog of adorable animals. Frankly, I'm not sure I approve of all this cuteness.

Finally, a reminder that February is Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month. I'd like to remind you all that I myself was a shelter bunny, and I knew I was in for a good life as soon as those two walked in. I think their heads literally turned into suckers. So, if you have the space in your home, consider adopting or fostering a bun in need.

What's black and white and disapproves all over?

Thanks, Carrie!

Rabbit Bites: Obama Girl

Time for another video from our friends at Rabbit Bites: "Talk to the Buns" with "Obama Girl." Who is she? I have no idea. Apparently she's a "big deal" on the internet, and I only use it to post this blog and play Winterbells.

Anyway, this video might be a little more saucy than normal. What do you want? They're rabbits...

I hope you all enjoyed Crocusing today, or whatever it is you humans do. Personally, I'm a member of the Disapproval Party (More Carrots! More Naps!).

And as this graph demonstrates, we expect
a massive increase in disapprovals for Fiscal '08.

Thanks, Shiloh!

Are you feeling my rage?
You're afraid now, right?

Thanks, Pamela!

Cinnamon Sunday

Step One: The Stare Down Disapproval, you must give her a treat.

Step Two: The Double Disapproval in which she incorporates visual aids to convey her disapproval.

Step Three: All Out In Your Face Disapproval. Pity the soul who laughs, for it ultimately leads to their destruction.

One appears to be smiling.
One appears to frown.
Which one would you turn your back on?

Thanks, Ash!

Rabbit Bites: Smosh talks to the Buns

I know what you're thinking. Cinnamon, I really enjoy Rabbit Bites, but I need something more from them. I need for them to interview someone like YouTube superstars Smosh, and I need for the show to get even weirder.

Lucky day for you!

The Big One Who Picks Me Up was sick last week. He stayed in bed all day taking NyQuil and playing Pokémon Diamond until he passed out. Watching his video over my back, he said "Yeah, it was kind of like that."

An Apple a day keeps Vista away...

Thanks, Jennifer!
