Adopt/Foster a bunny

Hey all, we got an email from the fine folks at the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society, and they are at "bunny maximum" as we like to say here: too many buns, not enough volunteers. If you can take a bunny into your home, either as a full-on adoptee, or simply to foster some disapproval (for fostering, MCRS can provide all equipment, covers medical expenses and provides hay/pellets/litter, too! You just need to provide the love, attention and fresh greens). If you would be interested in this important volunteer job, please contact MCRS for more information.

MCRS also needs volunteers and donations in many other areas as well, including socialization and drivers. So please help out this worthy organization. You can get more info at their website!

Same goes for Animal Shelters everywhere. There are so many wonderful loving bunnies waiting for their special human at the shelter I volunteer at as well. If you're not in the Minnesota area and want to help, just stop by your own city's local shelter. Everyone deserves a loving home for Christmas.

I adopted my bun from MCRS, and I'm so happy that I did. I wish I could foster but this tiny apartment is at its critter maximum with a bun, a chinchilla (who just got a MASSIVE new cage), and a hamster. :(

I wish we could foster as well, but Cinnamon has made it abundantly clear that she will not share our one bedroom apartment with any other rabbit.

And anonymous brings up a good point, if you don't live in Minnesota, please help your rabbit society in your state!

I do foster care already! We currently have one punk-rock black Rex rabbit named Pepperkin Pye, who disapproves of almost everything except num-nums and having her nose stroked.

We have over sixty rabbits in Indiana needing foster care and adoption too, and that's just from one rescue organization! Wherever you are, a bunny needs your help. We even need people to just hang out once a week with the bunnies fostered at local pet stores!

p.s. We love seeing our adoptees on this site, like the recent Rufus!
