Ginger-bunny

We got a message from Cinna-fan Carole:

"I am a big fan. This year, I have decided in lieu of making a gingerbread house, I would make a gingerbread bunny- based on your disapproval of ornaments that I saw on your DR website. He will be featured at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum's gingerbread wonderland in NJ this week and next."

"The bunny is made of rice crispie treat and shredded wheat. The ornaments are also crispie treat and fruit roll up, icing, candies, etc. He sits on an alter of graham crackers and is dusted with cocoa powder for detail. I think he's pretty great. Ironically- there is no gingerbread."

Great work, Carole! I think this may be the finest disapproval ever captured in the demanding medium of Rice Crispie Treat. Thanks for the pics and for those of you in NJ, make sure to stop by the arboretum and check it out live and in person!

Ah yes! What a beautiful creation there! Tis the season of the bunny! A bunny float! A Gingerbread(not) Bunny extravaganza! What next! This is no longer the year of the rabbit ... I proclaim this the Decade of the Rabbit! Rock on Rabbits! Keep on partying!

(How does a disapproving rabbit party?)

Hey Cinnamon - congratulations on your literary successes. I'm not sure how to tell you this but I think I may have found an animal as disapproving as yourself...check out the seal of disapproval:
